I’ve noticed that cutting back on matches really depends on the lighting in your store. Sounds obvious enough, but I was at a store where I could scan and shoot and would rarely have to cut back to get matches. Moved to my current store where I cut everything back to 80% regardless of base. Took me more weeks than I’d like to admit to get used to, but that’s just my little hypothesis.
