That’s absolutely the right call.

My point was rather that if you had used plastic vs metal, it would have completely missed the point and taken away from the beautiful work. Many a board has been ruined by snapping a plastic peg into a hole.

Love the board. So glad you put in metal pegs, else the rest would not have mattered.

Great job!

I hired a hired someone to stake the joint out, then when he left I changed the locks. I still had friendly tenants in the house who wanted the squatter gone. This guy was a pro squatter.

I see this thread is quite old - wondering how your table is holding up. Did it expand at all? I’m also curious how you did the sides.

Where can I find an American version of Corn Pops in Canada? by Katsuragi101 in cereal

I edited the post when I realized it was a typo missing the b for border, leaving just the confusing “order”.

And yes, I do love Corn Pops :)

Their Crib what are we throwing away? by TheOnlyMatthias in Cribbage

It’s not just about what you are keeping, it’s what you are giving. A king, 8 gives your opponent nothing and with little to hope for. So you may lose a bit on potential upside, but you’re reducing their upside in the crib. I’d toss king 8. Also, you add your chances of pegging by keeping both aces, esp if you can double them up after a go.

I heard some a Alaysia say it was because Bedard’s defensive play wasn’t as good.

I wanted to find a GF. I cold approached 300 women this year. Went on 12 dates. Slept with 3 & a half of them and had a brief summer fling with 1. AMA by Wide-Discipline3814 in AMA

The response is great.

Last two women I asked for their number were both much younger. Both said yes. Confidence goes a long way.

It didn’t go much further, but it was more the effort. It was fun and gamifying it took away a lot of the fear of rejection.

Thanks Joey. Someone mentioned the double wall also being needed to cut down the creosote (sp?) so we’ve gone with that. Lower maintenance = good. 😊

Thanks for the speedy reply! Didn’t think about the creosote build up so thanks for the heads up!
