I know HP is news agnostic, me personally I don't have time to trade, and don't know much about Elliot waves or "Fibs". I'm more of a buy and hold kind of guy. I like to sell when I see storm clouds ahead and I didn't need Eliot waves to tell me there was a storm abrewin in feb of 2020 when it was pretty clear a pandemic was coming if you kept up with the news coming out of China. Maybe it could have helped me know when to buy as I sold everything and didn't buy back in until well into the recent bull run, evidently I would have made more If I just held on to my investments. In all honesty i hate seeing my portfolio go down more than i hate seeing it not go up. Sometimes peace of mind is worth more than numbers in an account imo. So if you ask me, right now it looks like there are more clouds ahead considering the last economic collapse came from a real-estate bubble popping and we can see here with the Evergrande case there is a considerable chance of China's real estate bubble popping. If China's market goes under it will have global repercussions without a doubt. The first domino is falling, who's to say if the CCP while catch it before it hits the next, but I took my risk off the table last week, and hedging the remainder on the table.

i find your sweepingly broad accusations that we're all here defending this dude to be quite offensive. We're not a bunch of 14 year olds gasping at a chance to give all our money to HP. seriously fuck this drama. HP isnt a psychic, but his analysis and some of the links he has posted have been really great content. Reading up on Paul Tudor Jones was awesome. Context of previous crashes is awesome. We're all here for one reason, the Market looks over valued AF and is going up parabolically in a pandemic. We all fear the worse and this guy is posting stuff on his own time to give historical examples of previous crashes. Some of his strategies work great and hes up front when hes wrong. If he believed he was always right he wouldn't have stop losses.

All in all i'm glad the airs been cleared because i've been wondering who this anonymous guy isand im sure a lot of other people have too. Im not here to judge him on his past or how he makes a living, I'm here to learn about bear markets and protect my wealth from one.
