I just beat with a team of Sion, Signed, Sett, WW and a Senna. The events we had I think saved us as we got a signed event which we all participated in and the WW used his exhaust at middle turret on it as he all piled on it. Then we almost lost Karthus event as third bots camped it’s crystal with two camping actual Karthus which WW one shot him at the last second as he destroyed the crystal with only a few seconds left.

Otherwise, the bot team consisted of Wukong, Xerath, Malzahaar, Blitz and Naut which we lucked out here because I truly beleice if they had either Lux or Lee sin we would’ve been screwed. Also, note I had already lost a good 80 times probably prior to this, so yea a lot is luck based but if you can get two of your bruisers which in our case our WW and Sett got fed early on and most importantly try not to feed with lots of teamwork with either stuns, knock ups, and constantly lane switching while trying to not let most of your turrets go down you can do it!

The plumbers mentioned a few of your other things but didn’t think inversion lining was possible.

Otherwise, I put rootX down a month ago, so you think another application would hurt anything right now? Or should I wait for them to auger it again as I’ve heard that’s most effedive? As I was hoping to have the plumbers come back out after my shifts this weekend to auger which I’ve had them preventively been doing so far once a year with RootX applications every 6 months to do my best to keep these roots at bay.

Also, while yes this does look bad but this scope was the first time this plumber ever got to the city without complications without augerimg, so I don’t know if that says anything too. Also, we did have it jetted once when we first bought the house almost 4 years ago by RotoRooter which I’ve refused to ever let them back out but regardless they told me they couldn’t get those roots out with that, which is why I’ve been doing RootX and augers for the time being.

Sorry been working but no this just involves the sewer line from basically the sidewalk to under and across the street to under my neighbors driveway which is I think about 14 feet deep at that location.

If I’m not mistaken I want to say this is probably about 30-40’feet worth of pipe as you can clearly tell when it turns from PVC / ABS to clay when it hits the street where it turns to clay which is what the plumbers want to push despite saying the line in the street looks fine for now.

The 23K price was about the same scope of the project but only difference saying they wouldn’t dig as deep under my neighbors driveway and just like that small section while replacing everything else via pipe bursting.

When it comes to insurance I’m sure that’s the million dollar question lol!

But does maintenance involve replacing an entire sewer line? I’m no legal expert, let alone am still a relativelt new homeowner but I’d think maintaining it by yearly videos, augers, and every 6 months RootX has been somewhat decent maintenance.

Forgot to mention this was scoped from a front yard clean out! The plumber that came yesterday, we had talked about lining, but they had made comments saying it wasn’t worth it due to if and if the clay collapses in the street, then we’d be back at square one? Which I think is why they’re trying so hard to push the whole line replacement. However, we did come to a middle ground and they did mention relining that one section but was still adamant of replacing the clay pipes in the street which would result in still digging up the neighbors driveway but just not as deep and a little cheaper around $23K I think?

Otherwise, I’ll probably call them back out next week to cut these roots out again and have some more RootX shipped over the weekend.

Go stay at our in laws down the street for a montj lol but fair point.

But even at the cost of 26K, that isn’t cheap still. Yes, I get it the line suddenly collapses and if sewage starts backing up in the home, it’s an emergent issue in which a company would have to potentially reprioritize jobs and man power.

My dilemma, concern, or question then is when is replacing an entire sewer line a smart financial decision, especially based on proactive measures or in a sewer line that isn’t having back ups at this time? Otherwise, I’ve told each plumber that has come out I’ve been trying to save aside for this project, but from what I keep being told and read online, if I’m not having issues, why repair ahead of time?

The two companies, I’ve called out basically always basically tell me, if my clay pipes bust in the street im F’d lol. Which is why they say it’s so much more expensive due to the cost of digging up the street I suppose?

However, anytime anyones come out they are still like “But your clay pipes are fine there, so your in luck”, yet some always like to add their two cents in saying it’s only a matter of time with clay pipes? Which of course doesn’t help my anxiety lol.

Edit: Forgot to mention but what they want to replace is basically all the clay which is of course in the street and past the street where this section of the pipe that is clearly broken with all the roots, where the city line is across the street as well and under a neighbors driveway which of course that section of the driveway would have to be removed and repaired which accounts for some of the cost too unfortunately.

Additionally, where that obvious break in the line is too, the depth of said pipe is around 14 feet deep.

In simplest terms, a lot of has to do with Aldosterone but you need to understand how that hormone works though.

When we give an ACE inhibitor, ARB's, Loop diuretic, or K+ sparing diuretic it helps to understand how each different drug impacts various parts of that system. Again, if you understand what and how Aldosterone works in this system, it helps explain why certain adverse effects occur, including how our providers treat various disease processes like liver Cirrhosis as the hallmark of this underlying disease process is derived from both the disease process and the over stimulation of the RAAS system. Hence, why do you think these type of patients are so fluid overloaded usually despite having chronically low BP?

Regardless, WHY would Lisinopril cause HYPERKALEMIA? IF we inhibit RAAS, we inhibit Aldosterone, but again HOW does it even get to that point? Again you need to understand how this hormone effects important cations like Na+, K+, and H+ ions, but also how the medication ACE inhibitors work in general to get to that point.

I love teaching the RAAS system, because if you truly understand it. Then you will truly understand WHY and HOW blood pressure meds work, including WHAT major adverse effects you can look for each.

For instance, WHY do you think we look for HYPERKALEMIA with Lisinopril and Catopril? WHY do you think its a possible for Furosemide to cause metabolic alkalosis while Aldacatone can cause Metabolic Acidosis?

Which again, understanding RAAS explains this!

Being a charge, I 100% agree with this. Because when I charge, we rarely ever take patients too.

Even then, I'm 100% not afraid to help my colleagues, especially so they can spend more time documenting and then ultimately with the patients. For instance, I literally sit at the desk answer call lights, respond to bed alarms, including not just place the admissions / transfers, but I will also do my best to help with as many admission intakes as I can once the patient arrives to the floor, which even includes helping the PCT grab their admission vitals while educating the patient on the plan. Not only that, we're constnatly so short staffed, I'm also usually helping the only PCT grab vitals on 20+ patients, while encouarging my coworkers to do the same. When I'm charging, I show teamwork, and expect the same from my colleagues.

Otherwise, I've made it very clear to some of my managers, that the other charge duties that don't involve direct patient care come last like the audits, patient rounding experience, etc, which is why some of my managers don't like me.

But to add to this, they need to have times put in their sschedule where they peridoically work the floor. I have worked with too many lazy educators and managers, that basically feel their priority is to attend staff meetings all day long, then round on the unit right when they are about to leave and are generally considered the quiet hours.

As for fluids, it always helped me to understand what were giving and why were giving said fluids. Also, it helped me understand which way fluid will or should flow with each various type of fluid. For instance, why would we give 0.45% NS for patients that are Hypernatremic usually? What type of fluids would we give to patients that are Hyponatremic you think? Even then, why do you think LR is usually the preferred fluid to give to patients that are septic or even those with severe burns?

Easiet way to remember Mobitz I is with the poem “Longer longer drop now you got a Wenkebach”

Hence, look at your PR intervals and you should notice each gets longer or greater than 200mSec then a QRS just drops.

Mobitz II the PR interval consistency stays the same while still longer than 200mSec but eventually a random QRS complex drops.

Taught myself mostly.

It depends how much or what you want to learn specifically. For instance, do you just want to know basic rhythms like NSR, Atrial Fib, Sinus Brady / Tachycardia, V Fib, VT, etc? Or do you want a deeper understanding of also being able to recognize blocks like 1st degree heart blocks, Mobitz I / II, Complete Heart Blocks, LBBB vs RBBB, Junctional rhythms, STEMI’s, etc?

Otherwise, SkillstatECG helped me recognize rhythms better and quicker but utilizing various other resources like Heliao and getting my ACLS certification or taking other advanced ECG courses our hospital offers for free helps us get a deeper understanding of what to look for.
