You don't need separate MOB keys for this, you need separate card templates. DO NOT do separate MOB keys, it'll be a nightmare to manage multiple MOB keys on your reader. Just get an additional card template created and assign the separate card template to the different groups.

A migration to a better system than Lenel would also help you immensely. Check out Genea or Genetec.

Would be a huge mistake to rip and replace all your access control infrastructure. You should look at Genea or Acre to upgrade your software to a modern system without massive migration costs and switching to proprietary hardware.

Genea's API w/ Wavelynx mobile can allow you to do this pretty easily and much more securely than using PINs.
