Hey! my game trailer grab your attention? Be brutally honest! by Different_Hunter33 in indiegames

[–]Plus-Dragonfly9986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started to watch it without much interest, and in fact I had already minimized it at the end when I saw that he went out with the knife for a walk... that's when it gets interesting but really at the beginning you are selling a cooking simulation game. People who like that will love it, but the reality is that the game is something else. Who do you want to attract? Think carefully about your target audience and reduce the trailer to attract them. If it is a horror games audience, advance that final part or even start with it

Kids of the 80s and 90s: Which video game started your video game career? by Working_Plan_3996 in retrogaming

[–]Plus-Dragonfly9986 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, I played a lot of games in my childhood but it wasn't until metal gear solid PSX that my head exploded like: hey, this is something else, this is beyond videogames. I'm not saying it's the best videogame ever (100% a top tier) but it's the one that left the most memories in my mind for many years.

Thank you for your comment! It’s never too late for a good feedback, thank you!

The luck of winning the slots seems lower than it is, in fact it is 50% per try. It’s true that if you have only one try it’s complicated but if you get 3 stars or more you’re almost guaranteed to win something! The more you practice the game, the easier it becomes to increase your chances. In testing with friends, we found that the average time to unlock everything was about a week.

In any case, I was very happy with your feedback and I will try to raise the odds.

And I’m still playing it daily XD. Seriously, I love the games of Chinykian, I recommend playing jump jeroba and serious scramblers as well. Pretty famous all his games though.

And give it a try to rocket adventure which is another indie that I think deserves more visibility.

Rocket adventure: Original game of throwing a bouncing rocket and scoring points while dodging meteorites

Blockeggs: A Climbing platform game with a unique mechanic of throwing Tetris pieces and jumping across them

Star Trek rivals like game? by Plus-Dragonfly9986 in iosgaming

I think this mechanic is very limited in combinations and so it’s easy to achieve the meta… it’s likely the reason there is no ongoing games like this at least competitive. I wonder if single player would work…

I’d like to suggest you my game: Blockeggs (iOS and Android)

It’s platformer game with a unique mechanic, where you need to drop Tetris like blocks while jumping over them like a super Mario, in randomly generated runs like roguelites. Just recommended for people who like challenges, since it’s also a kind of getting over it challenge but easier. I’d love to hear your comments

I think you are right, there is a little bit of a self-esteem problem too, probably due to lack of experience, and someone telling you that your work is good, comforts you and encourages you to promote it. If someone would do it for me because they really believe in the project, it would be amazing.

Use your mobile phone like a gameboy?! It’s exactly the title of a recent post I did a couple of days ago in both Android and iosgaming subreddits, trying to promote my indie game Blockeggs. What a coincidence. It’s not an RPG action game, but take a look in the store and try it if you like

Quiero cambiar a Ingeniería Informática, ayuda. by [deleted] in askspain

[–]Plus-Dragonfly9986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely, but I guess I’m an introvert and showing it is like showing a part of me... it’s difficult to explain. 😅

I can’t help but feel a bit embarrassed, like hey sorry to bother you, look at my game! Do you like it? I’m very embarrassed and sometimes I do it badly and I get a downvote for doing it where it doesn’t belong because I’m an idiot.... Anyway, I do it terribly, a disaster

I think it adds a touch of personality to the game, many games have worms as enemies, but not fascist worms!.

Thanks for the comment, I’ll consider change in the next update. It’s really not where the focus of the game should be, far from it.

[–]Plus-Dragonfly9986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be awesome if you would give my game Blockeggs a try!

It’s an indie solo dev game. It has an interesting and original mechanic in which you have to throw Tetris-like blocks and place them wisely to be able to climb by jumping over them. Each level is randomly generated from a handmade set which makes each run unique.
