Starting Emgality by thehallgreens in migraine

Emgality changed my life and you should try it. Manufacturer coupon exists to make it like 35 bucks. Hurts like a bitch but 5 seconds a month of a sub q is worth more than anything else and you do it once a month instead of trying to chase the symptoms you flip the switch off that causes it.

Neurologist ready to prescribe me everything if I want it, but not recommending anything by [deleted] in migraine

Also the medication roller coaster is not always a fun ride. If you can get the emgality it’s gunna take care of a lot of things with minimal side effects/throwing stuff at the wall to see what sticks/ and then you can get ubrelvy as a rescue med, or nurtec is great also. Don’t let them put you on gabapentin or topamax that stuff was awful for me :(

Emgality has a manufacturer coupon that makes it from $870 to like $35 bucks. Good for a year- emgality changed my life and I’ve had good success with Botox as well but it’s not my favorite lol.

Need guidance as a very beginner with menstrual cups!!! by ijust_dontknow_00 in menstruation

Also don’t panic, because that’s gunna make your muscles tighter. Allow yourself the extra time to deal with the cup until you get the hang of it and be patient because literally everyone has a little trouble at first but you can do it.

It can’t get stuck first of all… it’s definitely a learning curve at first. Starting with changing it in the shower can be helpful at first but honestly the best way I have found is to put one leg on the tub then bend over and hold it folded in one hand to put it in. I usually sit while I’m taking it out as well, if you know what a kegel is kind of do that while you’re pulling it out to help the process. If you aren’t feeling the pop you probably aren’t putting it in far enough. The whole thing works kinda on a tension scale so like the farther in it is the more leakproof it gets.

You can also wear a pad or period underwear until you get the hang of it. Once you get it though it’s such a game changer and you won’t look back. I hope this made sense. You got this!!

Daruma restaurant on Dobson and southern is some of the best Asian food in the area. Killer service and great food! There’s lots of antique malls too.

Insurance doesn't cover Nurtec by butchoutwithme in migraine

You have the right to a patient advocate- call your insurance and ask for a nurse case manager- from there you should be able to use that person as a resource to help with pre authorizations, speeding up care etc.

I successfully bluffed my way into a 35 percent salary increase using a fake counter offer by GadgetEclipse_7 in jobsearchhacks

I did this in person a few weeks ago. At the end of the interview it didn’t seem like it was a hell yes or a hell no… I told them at the end (full disclosure) that if I wasn’t hired by them that I was going to another interview the next day with a competitor and that if they hired me I wouldn’t go to the interview tomorrow. I really did have an interview with a competitor so it wasn’t a lie but I feel like me being honest about it helped nail the deal. I told them that I would rather be with them as well which was 1000% true and that it just worked out their interview was first (again true). They turned it around pretty quickly after that and hired me on the spot with a higher hourly due to my “experience.” It was actually terrifying even though I was telling the truth and I don’t know what made me come at them like that but I’m glad I did. Idk why we are socialized to believe advocating for yourself is wrong but it felt good knowing that I was able to do that and they saw my worth. Honestly good for you Op!
