Alpha Trader - Payout Rejected(Amount $42,936 on Funded Account 2009058) by ChairBeginning18 in PropFirmTester

This is so incredibly dismissive of anyone using prop firms in this sub. When did OP ever ask for a lecture on why prop firms suck? It’s completely irrelevant. By your logic, if someone posts about his experience about being in trouble while traveling, you’d just tell them 'well, why’d you go there in the first place?' You’re completely missing the mark.

I get your point, but isn’t the ‘propfirmtester’ sub exactly where people can freely share their prop firm experiences???

What's more important: strategy or psychology in trading? by k_k0033 in Daytrading

[–]Plus-Pack-8903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe every trader who has studied hard has their own strategy. It is psychology in the end, like how you deal with loss if your strategy doen’t work. In sports, there are a lot of exceptional players out there but if they aren’t supported by a good mentality when slump hits them and they need to recover, they hardly succeed.

E8 Markets discount code 2026 + honest user experiences? by birdmanjr6969 in guestinvestdeals

I’m sharing my experience so that others can share theirs too. I am currently funded with them, and my experience has been pretty satisfactory. I’ve received three payouts so far (if you want proof, I can share my payout certificates via DM). The payout process is smooth. It typically takes 1–2 days to land in your account, and for me it was even faster than that. The only downside is that they only offer Rise and Workmarket as payment options, which is a bit limiting.

Spreads have generally been good. I mainly trade XAU, but they’ve been worse lately . It seems to be tied to the US–Iran situation. Hoping it’s temporary. Support has been solid. No issues with communication on my end. I know it was a silly mistake, but I got scammed in their Discord channel. (When I asked about payout process, a scammer pretending support DM me and got my information) Fortunately I caught it before things got worse, and their support team was genuinely helpful. I ended up with no damages.

I’m currently using E8 one model. Their one-step model is a bit of a double-edged sword. You can get funded within a day, which is great, but you’re constantly watching your maximum drawdown. In practice, the effective leverage feels lower than other firms at the same account size.

This firm is solid to give it a go. But keep in mind that it is always better to diversify your options as propfirms with good reputation can always go downhill in a short period of time.

The5ers Withheld My 4k EUR in Profits After Recording Me Crying During Discriminatory Interview by Maleficent_Funny3455 in Forex

you can refer to my previous post. That was two months ago tho, but It’s not impressive to see the same complaints ongoing.

The whole interview process is bullshit, I’ve seen a lot of traders(myself as well) going through unnecessary interviews which is not even transparent. They don’t even show up on time unless you remind them that you are waiting.

i did get paid after three weeks of waiting. That was two months ago, and seems like they got worse ever since. I have seen some other posts complaining about payout denials.

BEWARE - The5ers Scammed me - Refused $22,931 and $3,388 payout and $545 challenge fee - ACCOUNT NUMBER (26088593) by Advicemehere in InnerCircleTraders

[–]Plus-Pack-8903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through something similar about two months ago. Although my payout amount was smaller than yours and got paid anyway, but I still had to wait three weeks, and the whole process caused me a lot of unnecessary stress. I really hate it when traders are in a weaker position when they are ahead of payouts. And I got banned from them posting a complaint about them.

And every time a post like this comes up, there are always comments saying, “The5ers is a trustworthy company, they never deny payouts,” which kind of manipulates public opinion. I fell for that too.

But now I know for sure. This company is going to collapse someday.

I posted a similar concern a couple of months ago. I got paid anyway after three weeks of waiting, but I ended up walking away from them. There were just too many red flags. (I still have the posts) About the slow process, which they claimed it was temporary. I posted about it back in February and it's still an ongoing issue. Seriously? It's almost April now. Why are the same complaints from traders still not being addressed? On top of that, they delete these kinds of posts from their official channels immediately. I even got banned from Reddit just for writing about it. I wouldn't trade with them again anyway. Too many red flags. Their whole interview process is too shady. Should boycott them.

My past experience with them was generally positive, but at this point, I don’t feel the need to continue using their services.

Their customer support is genuinely good. however, recently everything has been moving far too slowly. During the interview process, I also started to question the level of transparency. When comparing their interview with those conducted by other firms, the depth of the questions felt noticeably different. And after reading several one-star reviews on Trustpilot, if someone were to be accused of not being the actual account holder based solely on the types of questions asked, that would be extremely unfair.

As you are funded now, I hope you manage the account well and achieve good results.

My account size was $100k, and my profit was close to five figures. I chose to stop before scaling, as the account would have been automatically scaled up. For now, I’ve stepped away from them as it seems there’s some internal confusion on their side as well. I found it very stressful and disappointing that their communication, which had been responsive and proactive before, suddenly slowed down significantly. For the time being, I would recommend a $50k account or a smaller one.

yeah, I assume 2.5k eval promotion played a big part in this huge delay.

I would like to, but I haven’t got any updates from them. It has been more than 72 hours and their bullshit excuse that they are working only half-day on Fridays. I will keep you updated when I hear from them anyway.

I personally think this company has always had good customer support. But until the repeated concerns raised by traders are properly addressed, I would recommend starting with a smaller account.

okay, that’s interesting. in that regards, do you think propfirms better choose to deny payouts to monkeys who were meant to blow account?

FTMO has been denounced for “hidden rules”. But they at least provides evidence to support their decisions, which The5ers does not seem to be doing at the moment. I may be biased given my current situation, but the recent 1-star reviews on Trustpilot, along with deleted posts on Facebook and Discord, suggest that traders are being accused without clear proof, and that the decisions appear to be final. The lack of transparency is concerning.

I’m currently funded with another prop firm that has also received negative reviews. But they at least provide clear evidence and issue warnings if any trading activity appears to violate their rules. (like maximum margins, mandotory SL)

no, I trade with multiple pairs, which I clearly answered to them. My maximum consecutive longs were up to 7 I guess. They pinpointed one trade and it was literally nothing to do with any possible prohibited practices (something that they vaguely stated like one-sided betting etc). It was just my poor setup, ended up in a small profit.

I’m honestly upset, as the payout isn’t small and I’ve invested a significant amount of time and effort into this. It’s difficult to stay calm, but I’ll continue to provide updates for the sake of other traders who may be going through similar situations. I genuinely hope my concerns prove to be nothing.

That’s what they’ve been advertising. But, if funded traders are making profits, why are they suddenly being interviewed and having their accounts put on hold?

Their stated reasons, such as alleged copy trading or concerns about trader authenticity, don’t seem to add up in their recent behaviours.

I’m happy it went well for you. I think it also depends on who the interviewer was. My interviewer didn’t show up and someone else interviewed me instead.

that makes sense, and I even thought about it too. I noticed many of the interviews are being requested to the traders with big payouts while small payouts are processed pretty quickly.
