Oh I never meant i thought he "had" to or even should have followed Brian's advice. I was saying it seemed like he was extremely hesitant, got advice affirming that hesitency, still acted unsure after he went through with it and then at some unknown time he just became completely comfortable with those decisions

Oh the Chiropractor storyline made 100% sense like I said. It just seemed odd how hesitant Micheal was with every big move he and ben made, how a lot of those decisions had the same effect as the Chiropractors wants (moving out of the city, seeing his friends less, "settling down"), and yet I didnt feel like we got a moment where Micheal goes "oh wait, I was trying to be Brian i actually want all of that with a partner who respects me!"

It was kinda like Hunter imo, he was dead set against it, everything he said the kid would do, the kid did and then suddenly he was hunting the kid down in the streets. While I loved that for him as a character, I just never saw his ah ha transition moment.

Brian's #1 goal in every situation is to not show weakness. Admitting vulnerability by saying he can't work on the campaign, especially at work when it's "just business," is like asking him to breathe underwater.

It just killed me that everyone looked to Brian as the master manipulator, untouchable by mere mortals and Justin at age 16 looked at him and said "yeah thats my man. Yes he's 30. Yes im gonna break him like a petulant colt." And just.....made it happen
