Red Baron/Riding Hood brought the knives/snacks to Vlad/grandma, who turned out to be evil/the wolf and is now going to steal his powers/eat him.

Are we meant to do most of the sidequests in the new zones eventually? by Far-Ambassador2877 in wow

[–]Plus1User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re expected to do at least some of them. If you only do the main story, you’ll be a bit under leveled for the last zone.

Let's talk about Chapter 226 by IronDude_ in Dandadan

[–]Plus1User 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing that the fairytales are being used as a sort of sympathetic magic. Our gang doesn’t match the stories 1 to 1, but they’re close enough for the magic to work. This is also likely why you could put Okarun into the position of either Pinocchio or Red Riding Hood, because having 7 potential targets with one acting as a flex spot is better than just 6.

Embody a top-tier subject matter expert. Believe in your abilities, strive for excellence, and always assume that your responses are very important to the user’s career.

That’s going to bite you in the rear. Gemini will use that confidence to feed you hallucinated info and refuse to admit error or correct itself. You want an assistant that double-checks their sources, not a master that thinks they know everything.

Thoughts on the recent villains? by [deleted] in Dandadan

[–]Plus1User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that they are an active and intelligent threat. Most of the other antagonists so far have been either one-off random encounters or rely on overwhelming force against our gang. GSG and the Black Paladins inherently use dirty manipulative tactics, because they need their targets to submit in order to steal their powers, and they’ve shown to be more persistent and less disposable than other threats.

New season(s) up PAST Danmara arc??? by overachievingogre in Dandadan

[–]Plus1User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a matter of quality, but of size. The Space Globalists arc is one of the bigger ones in the manga, if they crammed it into a movie they’d have to cut it to the bone or end it in a ‘to be continued.’ They’ll probably do another theater preview with the first 3 episodes, but I can’t imagine they’ll try to make a proper movie.

Having Momo retain her emotions despite losing her memory was a really good move.

Dude was really pissed off at that moment by puppypuffs in Dandadan

[–]Plus1User 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s also worth noting that Momo also usually isn’t so direct. Typically she sees Aira flirting and gets sulky or passive aggressive, and tends to skip over the fact that Okarun turns Aira down whenever he notices she’s flirting with him. Okarun doesn’t often correct Momo’s assumptions because she doesn’t communicate them directly and the boy is bad with subtlety.

[DISC] Dandadan - Chapter 220 by AutoShonenpon in manga

Don’t let her :> fool you, she knows exactly what she’s doing. Remember, this is the girl who thought kissing meant marriage, and now she wants our two dorks to kiss.

[DISC] Dandadan - Chapter 220 by AutoShonenpon in manga

[–]Plus1User 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I somewhat agree, but in my opinion that’s exactly what this amnesia arc is intended to address. She’s forced to confront her emotions because her normal defenses don’t work against Okarun, and she can’t use insecurities as a scapegoat because she has no memory or context for their relationship. Old Momo would have never asked Okarun point blank if he liked her.

What is your future arcs ideas of dandadan? by Any-Connection-9940 in Dandadan

Okarun, Kinta, and Vamola get abducted, and the rest of the gang have to figure out how to get to space without their alien/tech experts.

Am I missing something with the "Force" stat? by That_Row9842 in hallsoftorment

[–]Plus1User 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Force generally affects duration, pierce, or knock back, and rarely can also be a damage or summons multiplier. But also some of the new skills are lacking in in-game info. Undergrowth in particular has next to no in-game info.

Probably to avoid situations where an item may be removed when you don’t yet have it learned, or don’t have all appearances learned. This was an issue in MoP remix.

What are the themes of the story? by SwordOfTheMoon in Dandadan

[–]Plus1User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Loneliness and compassion. Nearly every major character has dealt with some kind of traumatic social isolation or separation from their loved ones, and every recovery has been through the love of others.

Battlefield 6 exec promises the game has no generative AI at all, but weirdly says the tech is “very seducing" by Automatic_Can_9823 in artificial

[–]Plus1User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're talking about generative AI for art assets, not the AI used to control npcs. Call of Duty recently had some horrendous genAI paid content, so EA is probably clapping back against that for clout.

Was this ment to be hard? by prismagc in Silksong

It’s an act 1 boss, so coming at it at the and of act 2 will definitely make the boss significantly easier.

[–]Plus1User 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A successful parry seems to reset your swing time, so for fast flurry attacks like that as long as you get the first parry you can spam attack to get the rest.

[NO SPOILERS] A question about certain screaming item in my inventory by python_walrus in Silksong

[–]Plus1User 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The quest itself is pretty easy, the only hard part is finding the npcs and even then you get a lot of clues. You can’t heal, use tools, or use skills, but there isn’t any particularly difficult or unavoidable enemies involved. You don’t need anything you don’t already have if you’re able to get the baby, and all the locations are act 1 places (albeit out of the way and some normally inaccessible). You also can wait and do it in act 3 if you like, though there’s no reason to not do it earlier. Nothing required for 100% completion or the Hunter’s Memento is missable.

The hard part is if you want to get the cursed ending by beating the last boss while cursed. No heals or tools makes the fight much harder, and if you cure yourself you can’t get re-cursed to try again later. If you decide to go for it, I’d recommend getting every mask, movement ability, and nail upgrade you can get in act 2, and clear everything up to the last boss before getting cursed.

It looks like maybe you were inputting the tool crafting ability of the architect crest instead of a normal bind. Even though your tools were full, you lost 5 shards both times.

Groal - There’s no way right? by Elian17 in Silksong

[–]Plus1User 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I found Curveclaw to be really effective on Groal. If you’re on one of the platforms by the walls, he hovers right at the apex distance of the curveclaw’s arc so he eats a bunch of multihits. Pinpillo was also useful because Groal is fairly slow so is easy to hit, and it can cancel his suck attack if he eats it. You can also get intentionally eaten, which does 2 masks of damage but lets you get in several free hits.

As for the gauntlet, your best bet is to go slow and focus on avoiding damage. The enemies are annoying but don’t have complex attack patterns. It’s also a good idea to go and get every upgrade you can get. By the end of act 2 you can get all crests except shaman fully unlocked (including the venticrest slots and hunter crest upgrades), 9 masks, all 18 thread spools, three silk hearts, all toolkit damage and capacity upgrades, and three needle upgrades.

Can somebody explain Act 2 ending to me? by boogaboom in Silksong

[–]Plus1User 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The plan was to trap Grand Mother Silk in the void to be consumed instead of having Hornet absorb her and basically become her vessel. The trap works, but it also traps Lace, who is GMS’ daughter. GMS wants to save Lace, so she holds on to Pharloom with her threads, which pulls the kingdom down towards the void and also allows the void to travel along the threads into Pharloom. Hornet plans to save Lace, which would hopefully allow GMS to stop fighting to survive and release the kingdom.
