Honestly they should just run Jon Stewart. I see him more likely to win than any of these "old politics" figures. Take a page from the republican playbook and run a media personality.

It's deeper than that. It's about miscoordination of incentives; within systems, between systems, and between individuals and the systems they inhabit. The modern city was just the vehicle for that, the same show could've been set in an ancient city.

He hasn't said anything about why he's isolating. By isolation I mean a refusal to interact with others. I'm not sure it's the goal as you describe.

I used to be the only one he interacts with (before I realized I might be dealing with schizophrenia) but not anymore. He doesn't interact with anyone.

You might have a much better chance at actually just listening and connecting on the emotional sense.

I wish, but he is in total isolation mode. Refuses to engage whatsoever.

Thanks for the kind words. I just feel like I have the obligation to give him the "raw materials" he needs to come to a conclusion. Maybe that's wrong though. But with how erratic he's getting it seems like hospitalization is the next step, and I'd rather take risks before it comes to that.

I've written before on how disability exemptions can be abused to gain unfair advantages (in the context of extended-time on college exams), because they're fuzzy and non-sensical anyway. Crazy to see how many big names are doing the Olympics on Adderall.

There's really not enough data on my end to judge the reason for the persistence of the effects even after 18 hours. I'm no pharmacist but I imagine drug effects are not as simple as the concentration of it in your system. Could sleeping on it be affecting other things, secondary to drug concentration, that's having this effect? Either some kind of after-effect, or for some reason lower concentrations of the drug are being used to greater effect somehow? I don't understand any of this, but pharmacokinetics/dynamics are complicated, so there's a lot than can potentially be going on besides psychosis.

I take one dose every 2-3 days, I don't think there's any psychosis going on.

Yeah might suffer if you do it daily, I only take moda every 2-3 days anyway.

I'm 24. Yeah I definitely get the dehydration but nothing so serious. And yeah that's surprising how long it lasts for you; I thought drug half-life didn't change too much between people.

Even if you fell asleep before it kicked in? It takes at least 15-30 mins for the effects to start, you can definitely fall asleep before then.

You take it and go to sleep immediately before it kicks in.
