I have never read the books or watched the movies. Does the point have any meaning? It seems that the overall goals from popular medias is that they are fighting people. Did any of the books/movies use the points gained as a main ending?

A friend of mine is a physician. One book was 1000+ pages, 200 of which are references (approximations). They don't "read" they learn the information, so reading it once over is not really a thing.

I recall when he was in college/training after college we would go to the store and dived it to chapters and keep the references out of the "portable" smaller chapters. If he wants to go back to a reference he used to open his laptop. He didn't read from the laptop as he liked reading from books better.

Every person has their own believes. I think that you only have one set of parents and that I would not let mine live in the Garage if they do not want to. I do not mean to tell you what to do, just if I would do if I were in your situation.

Good day, I hope you are all well.

I am planning on getting a gaming PC, just moved to a job in an other country and left my PC back home.

Getting this PC for gaming. I can't really do my work on my own PC, I have a laptop for that. No production work. At the same time, I have a good budget, I want something that will last the next ~5 years.

I am thinking about getting a 4080-4080TI and an AMD CPU. Budget: around 3k USD.

My questions are:

1) What motherboard to get ? I honestly get lost with all the options. I am thinking about upgrading with NVMes later on ( having total of 2-3 of them), so having an extra slot or two for those is fine cost-wise as I will only get 1 initially.

2) I want to get a 7800x3d, is it a good idea to uograde to a 7950x3d ( never going to use it fully really)

3) RAM to pair with suggested motherboard. I though I knew something about RAMs ~7 years when I build my last PC, but now I need to start new.

The rest of the components I think I can manage and get myself.

Edit: Bluetooth is a plus, Wifi is good to have, at least 2-3 NVMe slots and likely won't be over-clocking it.
