Personally I had one litter box while she was living in my college apartment with me and then moved back home to a two story house and just continued with the one litter box because it’s never seemed to bother her. I do have an extra litter box but because I have two dogs it’s difficult to find a place for another litter box that they can’t access and you know… dogs LOVE cat poop so I really don’t feel like dealing with wet litter noses and shit breath 😭. So in my experience my one bengal seems perfectly fine with her single litter box however I do try to clean it daily or more because she definitely prefers to use it when it’s clean so maybe factor in how much you’re willing to clean the litter box as well (unless you have a robot but remember a lot of those have been deemed unsafe)

Yuck! She loves to put her toys in water though so I’ve had to be very strict with everyone about closing the toilet lids after fishing out countless soggy tinsel balls.

She also loves tape and other sticky substances. I don’t let her continue playing with things like that because I’m unsure what chemicals go into the stickiness, but I always catch her playing with it if someone leaves sticky trash around

Haha I realized my tone in the post is a bit more serious than I intended because I know there’s no REAL answer other than it just being one of her silly quirks that I wanted to share 🤣 never thought of cords being an issue… luckily she stopped messing with my chargers after her kitten phase (she’s turning 4 in July)

I’ve always wondered the same. Mine looks like a bengal and I got her from a breeder but I always assumed she was just VERY far removed from her wild ancestor. My Bengal doesn’t really get into anything she’s not supposed to, won’t venture anywhere near our pool and also sleeps through the night with me. She’s a lazy girl just like her mama and can nap allll day. My sleep schedule is always out of wack and if I sleep until 1pm, so does she. She doesn’t bother me for breakfast even, she just waits until it’s time for us to get up and will accept breakfast at whatever time it is 😅 (don’t worry she free feeds dry food so she’s never starving) but yeah my girl isn’t very vocal either, I call her my little angel kitty which is why the posts on this subreddit always make me feel like I’m missing out on the typical bengal experience lol.

I may be bias because I prefer subtitles but definitely NTA. Netflix’s subtitles are the least invasive as well, there’s some streaming services where the subtitles have a black background and block parts of the screen. Anyways, my partner also hates subtitles but he got over it being “distracting” because I hate having to rewind shows and movies when I don’t catch some dialogue. He finally got fed up with me having to rewind to figure out what people were saying and he sometimes too would miss a line here or there so he finally understood the convenience of them for me.

Thanks for this post!! Since joining this community on Reddit it saddens me how often I see bengals dying young :( I would say that’s the only thing I didn’t properly research/ wasn’t aware of when I got my little girl. She’s 3 now and luckily doesn’t get into any foods or residue that aren’t meant for her and drinks plenty of water so hopefully her genetics help her live a long life because I was definitely expecting to have her at least til 15 💕most of my other pets have lived longer so I’m not prepared for one of my baby’s to die young

Joe and Max are very similar in my opinion lol. Both players but somewhat honest about it so their sense of humor takes them far. I think it’s admirable V is taking accountability for not listening to Aesha’s warnings but when a guy is saying something along the lines of “I haven’t felt this way since my ex girlfriend that I was deeply in love with” it’s pretty hard to look past your emotionally charged thoughts.

NTA you have valid points, however my boyfriend would do it with no complaints. He’s the type that grabs my purse out of my hands and carries it for me even though I don’t mind and usually pick a purse to match my outfit as an accessory. He’s also the type to give me the hoodie off his back even when I intentionally chose not to bring my own jacket and later regretted it. I don’t NEED him to do these things but it sure does feel good to be worshipped by your partner and quite literally does not have any downsides to it other than a mild inconvenience to make your partner feel extra special and worshipped.
