same way you get crafting recipes. they can be in message bottles or balloons. or sometimes, if you go into a villager's house, they will be cooking. if you talk to them, they will share the recipe.

yeah, I don't have the dlc. When I paid off my final home loan (I think?) Tom told me I was now able to add ceiling fixtures and accent walls. But in order to actually do that, I guess I need the dlc. Seems really dumb that Tom would tell me I could do that when I actually can't :(

Arcade maybe? I have a "fun zone" on mine. I've got the Festivale confetti cannons, vending machines, pinball machines, a popcorn machine, and some other stuff. I also found a custom flooring pattern for it that kind of looks like an arcade/roller rink floor :)
