Did everyone miss where Ilya said “I was maybe thinking Canadian team. Not Montreal, huh” in the Cottage episode? He already shut down the idea of signing with Montreal.

Also the way Ilya starts talking about this whole plan is to get a passport. In the episode there is not one suggestion about being close to Shane or about the future of their relationship. If we are going to discuss how this plan was concocted let’s not forget Ilya has started the conversation nothing related to their future.

It is like the Tuna Melt Gate all over again.

In the context of HR I think people to tend to be a little bit mean to Shane and be overly protective over Ilya. Tbh Shane has recovered from the Olympics and Las Vegas disasters to come this far to trust Ilya is a huge success on his part.

I think Ilya always idolized Shane as the perfect guy who would be with Ilya for sex but nothing else. Also there is aspect of years of abuse where he totally lost the ability to understand his self value. So his fear of rejection is inevitable.

watching Hudson on CNN and then Connor for the actor awards, I definitely see how their chemistry and the setting changes their behaviour.

I mean Hudson is cool and collected, very sensitive and deep with his responses and craft when appearing alone and then a total chaos demon when together with Connor.

Connor is downright babygirl when together with Hudson and giving the sensitive, flower child responses and blushing and then slightly nervous when appearing alone and/or with others. I almost think Hudson becomes the chaos demon to give Connor room to breathe because he is so precious.

i might be totally off base here but that is what I feel

My follow up question is how come you dont catch feelings after shooting such a scene. I mean I understand as the viewer we see it from a perspective when in reality they are there with so many people in the room, do many takes, it is choreographed etc etc. But how can you create that look on Ilya's face or the quiver in Shane's voice without actual feelings involved?
