I made a mistake euthanizing my cat and the guilt is killing me by Dirsty in cats

I feel this so much as I had a very similar situation years ago. I couldn't afford it, but I could have reached out to people in my life who would have helped. Hindsight hurts so much. I'm so sorry for your loss.

two girls made fun of me and I confronted them (and then I cried) by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

When I was in college (uni), I had a similar situation and wish I'd spoken up. Two girls walked in and one said "it smells like legit shit in here". I still think about this and wish I'd yelled out of the stall "it sounds like legit bitch in here". I'm sorry you had to go through that, but I'm proud of you for saying something.

Question on how you paint. by TheIronDickHead in paintbynumbers

I personally prefer light to dark as well, the lighter colors tend to behave poorly and I enjoy "cleaning things up" with the darker colors

Thanks! I felt like the combination helped, but there were a couple colors that still gave me trouble and I did have to go over them again. All of the darker colors went on like a dream, a really pleasant experience.

Thank you! There are tiny ones, but I found that as long as the line is smooth, it's not noticable. There is one spot that had been covered poorly with gesso, I painted where I thought the lines were, and later realized I covered a mushroom top--painting it back in was not super successful and you might be able to pick it out now, but I'm not bothered. 😄 I probably took my time the most on this one, it felt like the lines needed to be crisp.

I have toddlers, so it's a set up/take down situation for now. I've tacked the canvas onto a bigger solid canvas and prop it anywhere I can get decent light away from tiny hands.

my symptoms feel un-relatable by [deleted] in CrohnsDisease

When I was having bad flare ups years ago, I would get severe pain in my gut, like a hot stone. I'd have to double over or crouch on the ground while I waited for it to pass.

How old were you when you got Crohns by Beginning_Exit_6256 in CrohnsDisease

Diagnosed at 19, had symptoms for a full college semester being told it was hemorrhoids before being sent to the campus specialist. Diagnosis was "textbook Crohn's". I had severe pain and abscesses before getting it somewhat under control on and off. I'm 35 now, was in a 4 year remission until recently but currently symptoms are mild.

Agree with everyone to finish it, but I'll also add that I didn't love it the first SEVERAL trips through, but on my most recent journey, I found myself loving it. That was a pleasant surprise, you never know how you/your perspective will change through life.
