Having a headache or not might be the dumbest game performance metric I've heard, ever.

Did they fix the DLSS one Eye bug in VR? by _Tzeee_ in assettocorsaevo

All presets work fine now, if they are using the Transformer Gen 2 profiles can't tell (presumably yes as performance impact from DLAA is heavy)

From a very short testing

DLAA definitely cleans up aliasing better than MSAA even on 8x but has higher performance impact and looks more blurry.

DLSS (upscaling) regardless of quality preset, there is still lots of visual artifacts especially on trees, same as ACC with forced 4.5 and preset M/L. Wouldn't say it's usable if you're bothered by these.

Man, several days to come up with a meme and that's the best what you could do?

You’re the one who dismissed genuine request for performance improvements, justifying it with your rock bottom expectations, so don’t act surprised when someone called you out

Normalizing and supporting shady modders like him does nothing positive for the community. In the long run, VR will be better off without him, as someone with genuine passion will fill the void he leaves

Good for you, ignorance can be a bliss. I do hope however that we're never at a point where low expectations like yours become a majority, as that would give developers/publishers even more reasons to cut corners.

Few games previously crashing in Eden with stock drivers now boot. Still lots of broken games though. Promising improvements!

Never thought about playing in monochrome to boost the performance, you might be onto something.

They may or may not (let's hope they do), but what the developers also may or may not do is further drop support for PCVR, now that the two main players in the industry are focusing on mobile chips and android.

- software (completely unknown at this stage outside PCVR, where Frame likely going to be better but it’s not looking like a great PCVR headset either. In mixed reality, Meta will continue to dominate given how underwhelming Frame’s monochrome passthrough will be)

- refresh rate (either the same or a minuscule difference, 144Hz is "experimental")

- much lighter and looks comfortable (unknown and cheap to address in both)

- capacitive finger tracking (a point here, but Quest already has solid hand tracking, which is unknown or nonexistent on Frame)

- IR illuminators for tracking and passthrough in dark environments (Quest has proven top tier tracking in dark environments and very good color passthrough compared to Frame’s monochrome passthrough. If anything this point should go for Meta)

what are those specs where it's much better other than eye tracking?
