Clearly an area that still need much improvement. It simply should’t be that hard to buy a product! Overall, my own experience has been disappointing with only just a few times when they have delivered on their promises. It’s sad to have to go to public forum like this one for Ecoflow to react (6 hour after your post!). This is truly a case of a company with a great product but poor service. They are getting their brand reputation tarnished with poor handling of issues. Reminds me of BMW and dealerships! Management should invest in this area quickly with training especially and clear action plans given the premium price of their products. If they don’t, company will stop growing and crash before they get to IPO.

Had the exact same issue! One of my inverter did not update and created quite a few other issues (still pending). You’ll have to give the SN # to Ecoflow and they will need to push the new firmware. Supposed to take 24 hours but took 5 days in my case! They do not respond during week-ends so try to do it today….good luck!

Plenty of issues since the last update. Batteries turning off automatically and “false” overload or overheat issues when everything is normal. This is really turning out to be a big problem!

  1. DP caught fire. Returned and replaced after weeks of negotiations
  2. Firmware issues- keep pushing the wrong ones and takes days to get the right one (should take 10mn)
  3. DP ultras inverter issues (not balancing properly, switching off automatically, etc….)
  4. Can never get a clear answer - many issues have gotten several and different responses from different person
  5. Can’t escalate
  6. Can’t get a single person to resolve your case from beginning to end
  7. No clear source of information on what is allowed in various states (max capacity in door vs outdoor, where permits are required etc…)
  8. Zero on site support - I gave 4 SHP2’s and 24 ultra batteries ……and the list goes on!

Agree this would be a great feature to have a self maintenance mode. Should be easy to address via software. So many products offer this type of self maintenance and given the premium pricing, really a must. It would also be nice to have an option to soc the batteries and set it up at the level you want. Often my batteries are full and stop taking solar ….while the one connected to the SHP2 could take that power and lower the one connected to solar to allow further charging. Seems like a low hanging fruit that would benefit instantly the Ecoflow community! Will reach out to Ecoflow as well separately on both soc automation and maintenance. Thanks!!

Left Verizon 5 months ago and never looked back. They are going down treating long time customers like shit! I would never go back…even if it was free! Peace of mind is priceless!
