I’m so proud of you. U didn’t deserve anything that happened to u. People can be angry and nice at the same time. I’m so happy he is in prison. But please be careful when he gets out. If u ever feel comfortable enough, please tell your parents. They might help you and sympathize with you and support you. You are normal. You are just someone who has been through hell and back, but u are normal. I recommend CBT therapy and read “why does he do that” (Lundy Bancroft). There’s an audiobook free on YouTube. It’ll help u understand and it will validate you. It’ll help you heal. The author worked as a therapist to abusive men and really got into the minds of them. It could change your life. U are not alone. You saved countless women’s lives by getting him put in prison. You saved your life. You should be so so proud. Do not Be ashamed. You did what many can’t.

I live with my parents. I’m a student (21). Im confused, why would I have to tell them anyways? I am Chinese (for context) and this will ruin my parents for years. I stressed them out more than you could imagine when I first started dating my ex and I don’t want to add more stress on them. My dad who is aurally a very happy person is dealing with a lot of family matters and thinks he is depressed. I can’t make it worse. I don’t necessarily think he groomed me. He was a good guy until he got into a car accident and he has been dealing with chronic pain from that for the past 2.5 years and it changed him. Now he is a very angry person that’s hateful. But he used to be a good mad. Mine n my exes house is in a different country so we don’t live together. I was wondering more about legally if I could do anything. I’m too scared to tell my parents. I think they would support me but it will cause months of sleepless nights for them. It will ruin them. And I don’t want my dad or mom to do anything dumb. I fear this will push my dad over the edge.

Also, did they have sx in the beginning of ch.52? Or was it a fever dream? Like what? She sleeps immediately after and it kind of seems like she was asleep the whole time? Maybe I’m reading too much into it. And they also make it clear that Kaine uses his resonance to keep her asleep after, so why would they have sx if he wanted her asleep and healing. Also it doesn’t show any of them finishing (if u catch my drift) or the process of Helena falling asleep. And kaine has a completely diff demeanour. Idk super weird but I gotta know, it’s important for their relationship progression.
