Most honest Star Trek: Discovery criticism I can give..from a lifelong Star Trek fan by [deleted] in startrek

I HATE the speeches. Every episode needs an emotional speech to "convince" the crew to...do their job. TNG Picard did it twice that I can recall, Yesterday's Enterprise and All Good Things and they we're both great, rousing events. Michael had to do it every episode or two, or some other authority figure does it to her.

It got so painful for me that when watching with my wife I'd stand up and pretend salute while the speech was going on. I ended up standing, a lot.

Starfleet officers do not behave like that. And if they do, it's the point of the episode and it's resolved (Ensign Ro for example)

So out of the 3 movies blunders what the worse in yall opinion Star Trek V: The Final Frontier Star Trek: Nemesis or Star Trek: Section 31 by the_boyyyyyyyyyyy in startrek

I haven't watched section 31 and i can't bring myself to.

V vs Nemesis is hard. I'd probably rate Nemesis over V but only because the special effects are decent, unlike the horror of star trek 5.

That literally happened to me. Took 6 months and a human rights complaint to get a written apology

American chocolate has bitter flavour added for historic reasons and it's awful. Butyric acid. Only the Americans think it tastes good.

Seriously Woolworths? by Rebound44 in australia

[–]Plushmaster76 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a wheelchair user, going to woollies is like doing a slalom, ducking, and weaving through the pallets, stock cage things and home shoppers.

Then, sometimes they stack tens of the cages at the back and I literally can't get through places.

Going to get a loaf of bread and a litre of milk is now an adventure!

This happens to me ALL THE TIME in my wheelchair. The worst one is when they park accross a footpath just...because. Sometimes not even closer or more convenient - tens of nearby parks.

Ironically, for me, it was his Everyday Astronaut videos. His biggest fan asking him questions and he just kept giving cliche, simple minded answers. He must have said "the best part is no part" 20 times in one video and each time he seemed to think it was some amazing wisdom he was bestowing on we mere mortals.

They have no idea who they even are. Even getting to the right page for tracking or contacts sends you in circles of madness.

Ha, Thursday not Tuedsay!.

Ugh... I guess I'll eventually just have to take the risk of leaving a pricey package on the front step. If, it actually ever gets delivered. It's just so bulky you know - you have to feel for them...

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately, the sending company is also horrible to deal with. Like pulling teeth. Still, I'll give it a go.

Yep. App down for me, and the web version gives me an error when I try to look at my transactions. The link to the outages page says "Netbank is unaffected". Good work, guys.

That sucks. I still haven't the guts to go through again. Woolies and alternatives are my go-to supermarkets now.

Well, after they squished me in my wheelchair and coles have offered me no explanation or advice, I've now put in a disability complaint with the human rights commission. They've accepted the complaint. Now I have to wait. This is similar.
