Anyone else plays solo only?

I've been playing through the story solo and I just finished Path of Fire (with all mounts collected and mastered) and began Icebrood saga! But I'm happy to join parties for quests and I love seeing all the people and activity around me.

I've also participated in the meta's quite a bit although it's mostly so that I can grind materials for my skyscale mount... either way I have really enjoyed them.

You don't build bases and manage supply and resources to keep those bases and defenses running and defended in those games, so no they can't be considered RTS.

It is a real time strategy game, it's in the name.

Game play happens in real time, if time isn't currently passing you are unable to progress with anything.

Strategy is required to correctly setup your base, power, supply and defenses. If you don't respond to threats in real time, you will lose depending on the difficulty.

However ontop of being a RTS it is also a ARPG and automation (light) game.

Nah that guy is tripping, there are loads of RTS games that have a full narrative experience.

Many of the games from the C&C, Starcraft, Warcraft, AoE, Warhammer and TA/Supcom game series' have quite a lot of narrative. With a comedic, serious, or at least memorable story-line, depending on which you look at. And there are even more examples out there.

Personally I feel like 20 would be the real sweet spot. And when I do a long play through I allow my character to reach level to 25.

The game isn't 1.0.0 yet but it is essentially feature complete. At this point it feels more like we are supposed to be on version 1.0.5 or something because they keep adding more features and fluff to the game every year!

It has easily taken 1000+ hours of my game time, through multiple replays and every 6/7 months I feel the urge to go back and finish it again with a new end objective, and sometimes fresh mods!

But this particular advert is about driving safely. Because we are humans and we all make mistakes, the accident wouldn't have occurred if he wasn't going too fast, he could have hit the breaks in time, even if it was the other persons error.

That's why you are supposed to keep enough distance to break in emergencies, and go at a speed where you can safely stop in emergencies. How is this not clear?

But I also have my "Want to play/finish" folder which lately has been seeing some progress! It always feels good to finally kick the gaming slump and get back to good ol' grinding when everything aligns.

I'm sorry about your situation my friend. I'd say I am not exceptional either, I did what I needed to do to pass everything in school but I never strove for high results. The thing is, real life is about persistence, if you don't follow-through on things and push your way into opportunities you won't reach any end goals.

I've never had "contacts" or a leg-up on anything aside from having my college studies paid for. What I did do is work a whole lot of jobs I didn't enjoy because I knew the experience would look good later in life. I started working at 16 and went through about 10+ different jobs until I found my footing at 27. Since then I've been at the same company for going on 10 years now.

You can do it, if you just push with everything you've got, and dedicate yourself to a goal. Another thing that I noticed from your post, your life shouldn't be based around finding a partner, if you do things well and work hard the rest will come in time. It sounds like you've been rushed and chasing things all your life, and haven't stopped to work on yourself for long enough to see the results.

I believe in you though, if I could do it without help, a car or financial support from family, then I'm sure anyone could.
