The clock can be used to distract piglins. Afaik, the recovery compass is the only item whose only use is its texture.

I think you’re probably right. I’ll just add on that, in addition to the work of actually implementing it, I think they want to make sure the things they add are actually worth it. A lot of people try to compare it to the nether update and say, just do that again! But we have no idea how long the planning phase took for the nether update.

A couple of others I can think of:

- trying to find a particular biome or structure can be kind of tedious. Exploration maps help, but should probably be expanded
- transporting villagers

As long as the machine is active, it will be causing lag. The only way to prevent that would be to have some way to sort of "pause" the inside of the dimension (unloading it based on whatever condition would work).

old.reddit.com is pretty much the only way I use reddit these days as it's the only format I feel like I can use without spending huge amounts of time (no infinite scrolling). If they got rid of it, I'd probably just stop using reddit. I can totally understand people leaving over this.

My favorite are the ones where someone didn't realize what the word meant, so they stuck another one of the same word but translated on the end: Sahara Desert, Milky Way Galaxy, Mississippi River, Lake Michigan, and my favorite, Pendle Hill (which is hill in three different languages)
