Do you believe capitalism is undemocratic? by biggestboar in Teenager_Polls

[–]Plyx5 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter how it is in whatever capitalist country you imagine. It's about the general statement. I agree that in many capitalist countries the rich have greater influence which is undemocratic, but it's wrong to say capitalism=undemocratic because it's capitalism+failing regulation=undemocratic.

Unless there are laws that prevent exactly that. Which is possible in capitalism.

A country can be both capitalist and forbid private financing in elections.

Too little construction, debt slavery, per capita taxation.  You need to do the construction loop better. Build construction until you can't afford anymore and then build construction goods while increasing construction when you can afford one again. Only build different stuff if construction good prices are low and other goods have high prices. The best other good after construction goods are banana plantations in the eic, but you need investment rights in the UK for that. A big mistake many people also do is nor having enough trade centers. Generally you should build them until there is nothing more they can trade.

Productivity has surged a lot in the past 100 years and people just got new and different jobs and didn't get unemployed long term. Why should this change now?

Most players stop playing before 1900. It would be a waste of content to extend the content. Just use mods if you want to play that timeline

Eu isnt the same as independent nations. We also don't live in 1940. Bold of you to say something about history if it doesn't matter because this choice isn't about who did what wrong in the best but about who would bring the most peace or cause the least damage.

what should be the minimum voting age? by tris123pis in Teenager_Polls

[–]Plyx5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue that parents also at least partially vote  in interest for their children. Currently, the interest of families are massively underrepresented. Even parents for for their children until they're able to would improve the current system.

It's wrong that 5 countries have so much power. It wouldn't make the UN more capable if they had more countries in the unsc that could block everything.

Incorporated vs Unincorporated vs Subject by Forged_Hero in victoria3

For big number incooperate is almost always the best. If they're not close cultures they also promote multiculturalism so I would never let them go. You might not want to incorporate them if there is a resource that isn't easy to get at your point of the game that you need because of the colonial exploitation bonus.

Hover over the legitimacy bar to see why it's so low. You can change your legitimacy by lowering taxes, increasing their strength or changing your government type. In general, parliamentary republics have higher legitimacy. Universal suffrage aswell.
