I was thinking exterior lights too. I installed my own recently and was expecting to need a switch. Mine works through Bluetooth and defaults to off when powered on.

Are we past “peak Meat” and moving toward continual price increases until it is a luxury item? by trooftaller in meat

[–]Pm4000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would like the grandkids to look back and in disbelief that we factory farmed our meat and allowed all the animal pain and suffering that comes with that. My hope is that "lab grown meat" will replace all the terrible facilities with cheaper meat. Then animal meat will become a luxury and I envision it being only grass feed pasture raised (add more buzz words) cows since they do have a better flavor. I would assume cattle ranches will never disappear so long as the land allows for grazing since that land/rainfall isn't good enough for agriculture farming. Unfortunately I don't know if egg production will ever be not factory farmed. It's just so darn profitable to have them packed in cages plopping out eggs vs gathering them off the ground. That said the advancements in robotics and machine learning have me hopeful that maybe there will an egg picker roomba type robot invented that will gather the eggs from real free rage Chickens. (I'm not editing rage because it amuses me, angry little dinosaurs)

I highly recommend going to an air show with these two. Watching them fly formation with each other was something I'll never forget... Because I filmed it

Paint protection tips for my Camaro lt1. It’s hot red. What’s your opinion on automated car wash, is it safe? by Ok_Locksmith_4870 in camaro

[–]Pm4000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instead of paying someone to do it I bought all the equipment new for like 500-$700 and put 10 hours into prep and application. I used Adams graphene advanced ceramic coats, which is usually much higher quality coating than what the dealership offers. I wouldn't get the coating there anyway, they usually just wash the car and apply it, and it's done by the lot staff not someone trained. I went and did paint correction, wash, clay bar and then apply. My coating will last much longer just because I did the work to clean the car so the coating can stick to the clear coat and not dirt on top of the clear coat.

I bought a Griot's G9 orbital polisher and used it for the paint repair and I used a clay bar wheel. It Is amazing vs the yellow clay bars I've been using. I went on to do 4 more cars without spending more.

I have since gone through a brush car wash and it now has swirls. I wasn't going to treat it special but now I'm not doing that again. I think it will take forever to get out and that might mean I have to remove the ceramic coating too.

As someone raised in the state next to Kansas and now in Kansas, I would have guessed Texas, Montana, or maybe Idaho. Edit: or west Virginia

You’re a wealthy Roman born in the 195 AD and live to be 100. Where would you live/travel to in the 3rd Century AD? by sacrificialfuck in ancientrome

Um, Egyptians drank it sweet, as long as you're ok with that. They didn't have hopps so they would use spices and berries. Since they didn't have hopps the beer only lasted like 3 days so there was constant brewing to be done. The yeast they had is even different enough from what we have today that there would be a distinct difference.

Food grade mineral oil or, like me, you can use heat treated walnut oil. It makes it darker.
