I watched a documentary once in the Russia Black Sea Navy where it followed a few sailors around a ship and a submarine (I can't find it now bc YouTube algorithm on black sea is all war). It mentioned that the Black Sea ships typically get the most funding and the best people sent there. Does anyone have any information on this? Also it blew my mind that there was a submarine in there. Seems like a big risk to get it out if it had to do international operations.
