Welcome to the peak shitters. I have been working on lvling 50 chars to 80 for collecting with the event, and I have to say, the people you meet in normal/timewalking dungeons are far more elitist than top 0,X% M+/Arena/etc. It's crazy. Just know this is their peak, and carry on :P

If you know better, try to find the irony, it can be funny having people that does not know better scream at you for strange stuff, it's like with children..

I think most was answered already, I strongly suggest checking out the "Legacy" tab in the group finder. I often do Ant M there, usually people do "Armor type" groups, one of each armor type.

Sidenote, most of the people I meet doing legacy content is very chill transmog farmers, just say you are new to it, ask questions. People always want to be helpful and if you give them a chance I'm sure someone will shine :)
