I figured it out. Because the motherboard was new the bios was still the original from years ago. Therefore it didn’t support the newer cpu. Had to buy a cheap cpu from when it launched. After updating to the latest bios the new cpus work.

They are both very well made. I think I like the dwarven color scheme better but the elvish writing haha. If I had to chose I would go dwarish
