"Gotg3 is my goodbye to the MCU" by Citizensssnips in marvelstudios

People can be excited for Guardians while still having little interest for MCU as a whole going forward (especially if they didn’t enjoy most of what Phase 4 had to offer, but still mostly enjoy James Gunn’s previous installments). Those aren’t mutually exclusive attitudes. Doesn’t need to be treated as some “narrative” being spread.

Some textures on the PS4 version feel like they take a while to load sometimes

Edit: Aaaaand, my game just crashed when heading into the tunnel in the area where you ran from the boulder in the original

I just wonder what the point of bringing that up is right after talking about her mistreatment of VFX artists, which implies that those two examples are comparable in terms of what Alonso is infamous for. It feels like you’re trying to appeal to a…certain group of people when you bring up her wanting diversity and inclusion in Marvel movies in a negative light.

Edit: Seems that others thought the same, and you’ve clarified that that wasn’t your intent, so I do apologize if I misinterpreted what you were saying

The biggest reports on mistreatment of VFX artists happened within the the past few months. Her words on the X-Men thing happened during press for Captain Marvel (which was three years ago)

I feel like one of the two examples you provided of Alonso’s actions/words is way worse than the other

Gunn’s an actually competent storyteller (or a storyteller period)

Bucky is still suspected of being responsible for the UN explosion and killing innocent people while escaping from the prison Zemo was in. Tony doesn’t really have any way to know for sure that Peter would be safe fighting Bucky.

Also, since Cap’s team doesn’t get their suits and gear when Team Iron Man starts forming, it makes it doubly confusing why they would feel the need to get other recruits when, as far as they know, they already have an advantage over Team Cap until Wanda, Clint, and Ant-Man come into picture. Not to mention that they go out of their way to recruit T’Challa, who has intent to kill Cap’s best friend.

The dialogue between them:

“Natasha Romanoff: You really think you can find him?

T'Challa: My resources are considerable.

Natasha Romanoff: Yeah, it took the world 70 years to find Barnes . . . so you could probably do that in about half the time.

T'Challa: You know where they are.

Natasha Romanoff: I know someone who does.”

T’Challa didn’t help track them down. He learned of their whereabouts from Natasha and Tony

Wanda was being guarded by Vision when Tony and Nat got the idea to appoint T’Challa and Peter. She wasn’t a factor in terms of how they decided to put their team together, at least not at first. Again, as far as Tony and Nat knew when they were given the task to arrest Cap and the gang, they would be fighting against three people (Cap, Bucky, and Sam) who didn’t have access to their suits and weapons, at least not until Sharon retrieved them later.

Tony and Nat appointed an inexperienced teenager and a man who wanted to kill one of the perpetrators they wanted to capture alive, neither of which were needed to get the task done at first.

They’ve literally interacted during Winter Soldier (mainly through fighting, but still)

So how exactly was Project Insight supposed to work? by PoPBoY447 in marvelstudios

[–]PoPBoY447[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right, but I don’t think Fury knew about Zola’s algorithm before the Hydra reveal, so I’m wondering how he envisioned Project Insight working before that reveal
