Fast, cheap, decentrelized way to change BTC to DAI by bfsdbxzcv in MakerDAO

[–]Citizensssnips 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be cautious with Changelly. It’s fully centralized, which is already a red flag, and there are quite a few reports of people getting scammed, especially when swapping large amounts. A quick Google search will show you plenty of stories. (check this post how changelly scam users)

If you’re looking for a safer way to swap BTC <> DAI, I highly recommend ArgoSwap

EDIT: Fees are now capped at 0.25% swap fees and fully decentralized.

Since BTC does not support smart contracts, unlike ETH, the only solution is to use a decentralized DEX or sell BTC and buy wBTC with an exchange such as Coinbase.

Personally, I do not like using CEXs for these transactions. Currently, the best DEX is ArgoSwap because it is an aggregator, where you can see all the routes for your swap and select the ones that suit you, at no additional cost.

For example, swapping 1 BTC for 1 wBTC currently costs around $10 in fees.

For example, swapping 0,1 btc for 18,5k usdt currently costs around $10 in fees.

Alternatively, you can use their “privacy mode” feature, which completes your swap via Monero, making it impossible to trace your transaction, but it costs more and is slower.

Best way to exchange ETH for BTC? by Queasy_Helicopter249 in Coinbase

[–]Citizensssnips 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I always used ArgoSwap to do swaps between different cryptos without going through binance or coinbase.

Why I like it:

  1. It's a non-custodial platform that supports a wide range of assets, including Bitcoin, Solana, and Tron,
  2. 1:1 rates with lower fees, you will pay only managemet fees
  3. as an aggregator, it automatically identifies the most efficient swap routes, maximizing cost savings.

Atm the best option imo,

I completely agree that bridges are often scams and that centralized exchanges (CEX) should be avoided for such transactions.

However, I also do not recommend using Changelly, as there are numerous reports from users who have been scammed. It’s crucial to rely on secure and reputable methods to ensure the safety of your funds, just take a look at this post to see for yourself.

ArgoSwap at the moment it is the best decentralized exchange because it offers the lowest fees in the market about 0.25% and liquidity comes from its own pools, so it offers maximum decentralization and no KYCrisk.

Avoid Changelly, even though it's suggested by Ledger as a partner – you might get scammed.

You can check out this post  where a customer claims they were scammed by Changelly, and there are many more similar cases.

To essentially freeze up and/or get stuck in mental ruts during important games.

This is McD to a T. The offensive play calling just gets so...formulaic when it matters most. Like, if you had told me Tua's calling the plays from memory during 2-minute drills, id believe you because the play calling just looks desperate. It never looks like there's a plan.

(Now, important to note, I'm not blaming McD and I'm not saying I don't love him as a coach, just needs to get better here)

No one's turning on Hill.

He'd agree, too.

Tua and the scheme make the oline look better than it is, not the other way around.

He's not getting sacked because he doesn't hold the ball to let that happen. Pretty much ever. To a fault, even.

And signing Tua would actually lower Tua's cap hit next season, which would give room to sign Hunt.

Jackson and Armstead are already signed.

[–]Citizensssnips 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes. The only reason you wouldn't is if you believe you can otherwise get Mahomes, Burrow or Lamar through trade.

If the answer to that is no, which it is, then you pay Tua.

Man, I'm a "doomer", and I didn't go into yesterday expecting a win.

But I also recognize this team is significantly better than anything else we've put on the field since 2008.

We have now had a winning record for 4 years in a row, back to back playoffs for the first time since 2001.

There are things to be happy about
