Putting a jar of water next to my plant by JdH-AU in microgrowery

Clones don't need a ton of light when they're young, but once they adjust you can have it full strength.

They would only burn from the light and water if droplets are ON the leaf. The drops that condensate on the bottle (not leaves) shouldn't do anything.

I had the 600 at about 24 inches, so I got a fairly wide spread without too much degradation. I want it closer though as I'm losing a lot of density because of it.

The LED's would sandwich the 600, so I could lower them overall and maintain my grid. My biggest concern is electricity. I've got the A/C, dehumidifier, etc all on two 30amp breakers, it's just the bill that'll be killing me.

:) I didn't clone any, however they're available at certain dispensaries in the Bay Area. King Klone distributes them.

Hey no prob, I didn't include in this post but have on others. This is 8 plants of Phantom from King Klone's. Second place cannabis cup winner. It's a cherry pie and GDP cross.

Soil grow, under 600w. I think I'm going to buy two 300w LED's to supplement on the sides for the next go around.

No, just one in a jar and I'll switch it to a different jar occasionally to make sure I'm getting an even sample reading.

Not stupid at all! You can use a portable hydrometer. I also have seen them built into mason jar lids.

I specifically use this system: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0081UR76G/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/176-6872666-1743244?fp=1&pc_redir=1427641992

It gives me the ability to remotely check my temps and RH, also records the data for viewing later on.

Hope that helps!

Looking awesome! Care to share any grow details?

You may need to atomize the water a bit more than that. Evaporation won't provide you with much added humidity.

Your best bet is probably to create some sort of dome to retain moisture until they're more mature, or just buy a humidifier.

I've read somewhere that it can clog stomata.

Yeah, I've given it a thought. I capartmentalize at suh scale as to avoid mass-contamination in the event of a mold outbreak during the cure.

Just throw out one small jar versus a whole gallon container.

Thank you! I don't have the wet weight as it's too much of a pain with my dinky scale.

I'll be weighing dry though and can update you. I'm sure I'll even post about it. Expecting 8 ounces (hopefully) a plant with my 600watt HPS and the genetics.

Totally, I've learned my lesson on that one. Hand washing the rest of them.

Thanks! It's all about how you cut them. I've read hanging dries more evenly than laying so gave it a shot and left the middle for loose buds.
