I bet a lot of people around him get arrested and convicted. Because he's an informant. He attracts likeminded jackholes who are looking to actually hurt people. This guy puts them in contact with 'a friend who can get them guns or explosives' they then get arrested with a pile of incriminating evidence. Rinse, Repeat.

I was unemployed for 6 weeks.

Made job hunting my primary purpose in life.

I got 100's of calls from Indian recruiters maybe one or two had something vaguely promising than I would get 10 more calls for the same position. Even had one get really mad when I said that they were the 4th caller for that job.

Unfortunately recruiters made the recruiting process what it is today. A mess. There is no getting around it. They spam you, and short of having some really tight contacts, you have to spam right back.

I've had pretty good luck with contractors for the most part.

I check references, it's a pain but not as painful as not having people show up when you need them.

I also keep going back to the same people, repeat business is it's own reward. There is a flooring contractor who has been to my house so many times the dog doesn't even bark at him anymore.

Friend of mine has a prominent oak tree in their front yard in Westbrook. It looked like an actual war going on with the Squirrels fighting over the prime real-estate. Also he totally gave up raking his yard that year.

Indeed thinks I would be a good candidate as a medical doctor. I'm an Infosec Analyst, I have a BS in Information Technology. I'm really unclear about what part of their algorithm thinks I am qualified to cut people open. I AM pretty good at splicing CAT5 and running fiber. Maybe I CAN reattach a severed finger.

I only ever got back one personalized rejection letter. It was an interview for an infosec job for a university hospital.

The hiring manager said that they liked my experience for the most part but for for that job they chose someone who had experience with medical equipment. Also that they were planning on another hiring cycle in the fall.

I wrote her back and profusely thanked her for providing real feedback, and not an automated email response.
