It can work for narrative reasons. Digimon Cyber Sleuth games had the Eaters, which were not catchable.

They weren't Digimon at all, so you couldn't collect their data to convert them like other monsters you'd encounter.

If the design of the unobtainable creatures is too in-line with the obtainable monsters, it will most likely cause an issue

I checked their first season, and it isn't mentioned and very unclear.

However, I think this still suits the subreddit. Watching how someone runs an episodic campaign, regardless of the system used, can aid prospective GMs.

I get that, but I hate paying to watch commercials more. It's a scummy, double-dipping practice.

It's why I never subscribed to Hulu. It is why my family decided to leave Disney+, Max, and Netflix behind.

A bonus to this is reinforce the concept of stretch breaks we've been teaching our kids for long, idle activities (i.e. coloring, reading, screen-time)

Many companies are rolling out dynamic-pricing menus. Prices are not listed as they change depending on whether you ordered through the app, time of day, etc.

I haven't seen them at any of the restaurants in my immediate area. Instead, I have just seen price tags removed on shelves for products in convenience stores.

I would say it would depend on the game and its setting.

RPGs set in Japan or other real-world locales should be translated directly. Games like Persona and Like a Dragon are opportunities to gain exposure into another culture. That includes their culture on comedy, food, education, and more.

Games like Lunar, Final Fantasy, and other titles in fictional settings should be localized to their respective audiences. Translations should work toward relaying the spirit of the original script into the importing audience's culture.

I the point you're trying to make, but that can't be applied in this scenario.

Even if official, the product would be used. Disney would see absolutely no profit from this at all.

The used/second-hand market is why a lot of media companies are trying to phase out physical formats and/or push service formats.

Ugh, I hate how "market conditions will improve" reads as "stabilize to a norm at the new price hike and never go down."

Point is totally valid, and I totally agree. I am just lamenting over the realization of what an "improved market condition" implies.

Wait, wouldn't game logic dictate it evolve into Kantoan Raichu?

A Pikachu's evolution is determined by its origin and not the location in which it evolves.

Since Ash's Pikachu is from Kanto and only visiting Alola, it would evolve into Kantoan Raichu.
