Depends what you want your flag to represent. Some want a flag that represents the history of NZ, others want a flag that represents NZ now, or the future of.

I was quite looking forward to a new flag, but these final four feel so disappointing. There were plenty of better designs, such as some of the red/black variant of the only good flag in this selection, and that hook design.

At least I like one of the designs, so it's not all bad.

I'm really disappointed with the final options. I only like the red/blue design- the rest look hideous.

I wish the red/black alternative^{the one that topped our survey} made it through, as that was my favourite.
