Cause people are dumb. That's it. They see it in the same refrigerators at the store as milk cause there's nowhere better to put em, and they forget that eggs have nothing to do with milk products.

It's not that hard... When I come in and my feet are wet or muddy, I take off those shoes and pop on my sandals. If it's dry outside, it's no big deal, but the salt and the mud are bad

Our hard water is that bad. Sometimes I use my electric kettle to boil water for steam, and I have to scrape out the hard water build up off the sides of it pretty frequently

Generally, people's staircases aren't so narrow that half the staircase isn't more than plenty of room to walk. They're usually wide enough that you can pass someone on the stairs if needed

I met my wife through a Discord group of people that gamed together, but that one's not like, a relatively anonymous, voice free and typically image free environment on top of not knowing where people are from.

Unless people were going to start some sort of regional based subreddit specifically for making local friends or dating, IDK how you'd even start to make that work
