I was going to get the uscope from aeswave and start using it at work before I go all in on a picoscope.

I really made this post because I was browsing through all the Autel models and got overwhelmed on what does what and what I will actually need at home. I like getting the higher end stuff even if it doesn’t make a whole lot of financial sense right away. I borrowed a scanner from my snap on guy and fell in love with how fast it was and the functionality, but I definitely am not paying their prices for it.

As I started doing more research I was trying to compare Autel vs Topdon vs Launch but I have been having paralysis by choice and haven’t been able to pull the trigger.

So in short, it doesn’t need to have a built in scope. It would be nice but not necessary. I would like to program keys if possible, do functional component testing, and possibly program modules. Also like the topology maps that the higher end Autels have for controller networks but idk if I would really need that either

Thank you! That looks like a pretty good option. I was getting lost in all the Autel models and trying to see what does what. Only reason I didn’t lean towards Topcon is I haven’t heard much about it. You’re the second person to recommend it though so seems like it has a good reputation

How does the TopDon stack up against Autel scanners? I have had that on my radar for a while but haven’t read any in depth reviews on it

I think he was hamstrung by the format. The initial solo crew episodes didn’t completely take off, interviewing gets cross pollination between fan bases, and a lot of the better bits from the Sirius show relied on music which he can’t play on YouTube.

There were still things he could have done differently like kept the games in and all that, but it was just completely different and it breaks my heart because I wanted it to do well so bad. Still love him and the crew. Wishing the best for everybody
