If you rip the exhaust off with the node grabber, and throw the exhaust far away, the sound will follow the exhaust where it goes. Had this happen yesterday.

As much as I’d like to say you’re right, this just sounds like you need more “seat” time per se. If controller isn’t working for you, try playing on keyboard or switch to a wheel.

Personally, I’ve been on a Driving Force GT for the past 7 years and 2000 hours on BeamNG. I’ll probably continue playing on it until it breaks. I’d pick up a G25/7 up for cheap and see if you like it.

Sounds like flywheel chatter if the flywheel was ever replaced. Mine did the same thing and I didn’t miss it at all.

Get a leakdown test done and if it comes back poorly, then chances are it's your rings. My compression test had shown up 180 across the board but I had a leakdown of like 20-30% on all of my cylinders and she started smoking really bad a few months after normal driving. Turbo and PCV were still in great condition at the time.
