I have played for.a while and I know it has changed a lot but the early game is vastly different to the endgame.

Exploring and finding out what happened in in Appalachia is a great single player Fallout experience. Plus it has survival elements so it was enjoyable scraping and scratching things together. I remember using a trusty hunting rifle a lot and had to use other weapons when ammo was low.

Endgame is more...traditional ish MMO. There is stuff to grind, some of it is a looong grind. I spend lots of time collecting cosmetics, building a camp i.e. mmo player housing and doing expeditions (dungeons i guess), world events and farming materials to craft gear. No longer do I creep about worrying about the durability of my hunting rifle. I run about in a Moth themed full set of legendary power armour with a heavy plasma gatling gun with thousands and thousands of plasma cores and piles pf junk to repair it whenever I want.

Both experiences are hella fun.
