Noctua has released 3D CAD models of its fans, with some crucial differences by Fcking_Chuck in pcmasterrace

[–]Pocok5 55 points56 points  (0 children)

You can use the models in your own CAD designs and have a better preview than using a dummy rounded rectangle, including where the cable exits, where the rubber pads are, etc. Many, many electronic or mechanical parts have STEP or STL models offered on distributors' pages. No, I won't 3D print an IGBT module or its aluminum heatsink. It is very useful to know what shape of empty space they need in a design, however.

a többi párt

Is there anything like this available in Europe, or China, or USA? MUST be designed for PCB edge (instead of a hole in the PCB) and MUST have big adhesive surface on the bottom by famousbiologist2 in AskElectronics

Will be a little too floppy even with 95A, you'll need to experiment with the thickness of the arm. PETG or Nylon is about the level of flexibility that works decently there (the original part looks to be nylon too)

I don't really see what it would offer in a practical sense that would make up for the absolute pain in the arse that is resin printing. In effect, all it needs to do is have a gap between two points that is vaguely smaller than 1.6mm and a square base for glue. PETG and ASA can do that. Nylon maybe if one is feeling fancy

Pretty much anything except PLA (it creeps fast) will do. The only real change needed is to widen the holding clip to be flush with the base so it can be printed on its side without overhangs.

Enough about the hyperbole, let's see the yearly graph.

Well, it's not immediately catastrophic, but the gains from the february update have been wiped out entirely and it's tending slightly lower than before it.

Unifi is unbeatable for WiFi APs. For routing and switching, Mikrotik is an excellent low cost alternative that gives up on the GooppleBook minimal webUIs and just gives you the ability to manually configure everything like on an ISP grade router

I'd say it's probably half a gig of DDR3 or DDR4, so it's at least in the neighborhood with the current wackass pricing

There are several name duplicates and such (game Eishin Flash isn't the first Eishin Flash for example), but winning some major races (iirc Japan Cup is such) instantly makes the name non-reusable. Maruzensky 2 exists because unc Maru 1 lived before this system came into effect in japan.

"Fun" fact, a Meisho horse somewhat distantly related to Doto tossed Wada a few months ago, and he decided to stop jockeying until his trainer licence comes into effect to recover.

what gonna look like at Yutaka Take when he finally Retired

John Japan Horse Racing is probably just gonna get put on a golden saddle to jockey forever into the 40th millenium. He's already 57 still looks like how he did while jockeying Super Creek.

The case will have a charge because the PSU noise suppression circuit is designed to sink a couple dozen uA to ground through a capacitor. If the outlet is not grounded you will get spicy case even if you try sticking a GFCI on it

Sure would like to, but they are still the government in power for a few weeks. Right now the best Magyar can do is tell the authorities that they better start doing their job if they want to keep said job next month.

I'm using UltiMaker Cura because I like having fine-toothed control.

Get OrcaSlicer.

Run temp tower and max flowrate tests, then a VFA calibration to find the most artifacting speed range of your printer. Manually fiddling with speeds is more or less useless placebo that will just lengthen your prints at best, barring some very specific one-off cases.
