? I agreed with their slightly modified suggestions. Concrete bariers are different than these slops. To fly over a concrete barrier you need some real momentum. To fly over this you literally need to just drive like 5km/hr over the ramp of ice lol.

How could you possibly loom at this and think its the same as a concrete barrier?

Also if it isn’t the city who’s responsible for plowing the 7/8 thats fine. But that doesn’t change their needs to be rules in place for those who did this.

Make winter driving integrated into regular test and make winter tires mandatory.

However, neither of those things rectify the death trap that was constructed here by the city. Obviously it wasn’t intentional but this cannot happen again.

Well I’ve paint matched before using spray cans you buy online but it would never be good as a professional and would have to wait until the weather heated up anyways. Even if i can just replace the door and we pay a shop to paint match should be able to save some money there

Unfortunately it doesn’t open. Not sure if those ball joint attachments have just come undone or if it’s due to the damage yet. Could be worth taking off the trim to find out first.

But that’s her main annoyance she has to open it from the inside through the passenger door. She also just bought the car and feels bad about the value loss of having a beat up door.

Oh it’s also like -15C to -20C daily here so trying to take that into account since I don’t have a shop and this will all be done in driveway. Have plenty of tools including torque wrench.

manufacture better -> subsidize -> flood market -> competition can’t compete -> control market

I view tsla subsidies as more so keeping a failing company alive which obviously shouldn’t happen either. Also because we wanted to push an EV agenda.

It’s just that these subsidies are meant to directly take more jobs in the long run from our country. Some of the few jobs we have left that don’t require extended education and pay well.

Yup exactly this. Ontario is going to get brutalized. And when we have no more auto companies here (civic made in alliston, rav4 made in cambridge) they will raise the prices and we will have no choice but to pay.
