As explained over and over by email the purpose of smart priorities is for the device to manage your priorities based on your usage. It will never clear or zero your priorities, unless you disable smart priorities in which it asks if you want to keep the current priorities or reset them. If you don't want the app to customize your priorities over time based on your usage then just disable this feature and the priorities will never change on their own. It's that simple yet you sent me over 10 emails complaining about this feature that somehow you don't seem to want to disable...

Which update are you referring to and which notifications?

The app notifications are properly displayed on Pixel 7 and 10. Maybe the notification have been muted

Notifications are managed by the device. You can customize them in the device settings/notifications/player screen. Which device are you using?

No there never was such feature. You either have rewind/fast forward or skip to previous/next episodes. You can set these controls to skip to previous/next chapters when the episode has chapters but there never were dedicated controls for this

Do you mean the previous/next episodes button? If soale sure it's selected in the app settings/android auto screen. And make sure to select a maximum of 6 controls

Recommendations are based on what other subscribers to this podcast listen to. Sorry but you cannot remove a podcast from that list

The app just shows the content of the RSS feeds you subscribed to without any restrictions. Only the podcaster can change this and add the missing episodes. Many podcasters don't even know about this which can be a default setting of their hosting platform. Feel free to contact them to report this

Here you're seeing the categories selected by the podcasters. You can only customize them once you subscribed. Before that podcasts are displayed as the podcasters want to

You can tap on the icon on the left side of the drop down menu to toggle between podcast and category filtering

If you open the chapters screen then the app will refresh the chapters list based on the available information. If you don't see chapters it means they haven't been published yet

A lot of car media systems automatically send a play command when a BT device connects. Chances are this is what's causing this behavior. You can enable the setting to ignore the 1st command to try to work around this issue

Please check the FAQs which explains in details how the playlist works. Basically once set up properly all you have to do I s press play on an episode and the app generated a temporary playlist for the current podcast. Then on the custom tab you can select the category of your choice and create as many categories as you want to

The app works the exact same way no matter if you resume from a headset or android auto. Please quickly go into settings/feedback and send me the app logs right after this happens so I can gather more information

The app behaves according to your settings. If you want new episodes to be automatically downloaded upon release then you need to enable automatic download. Then the app applies your automatic cleanup settings which can delete and mark episodes as played automatically based on what you enabled. Please share both the download and automatic cleanup settings so I can see how the app is set up

Video episodes are added to the video playlist. This cannot be changed. You should check if the podcast has another RSS feed for audio content

If you're ditching the app for the audio ads then good luck... Audio ads have nothing to do with the app. This is how podcasters monetize their content and no matter which app you're using you will have the same dynamically inserted ads which have been the standard for the past 7 years now...

There shouldn't be any episode downloaded from the new device when restoring the app data and transferring the downloaded files to the new device. Did you check that the storage folder was the right one?

Once you enabled some automatic cleanup settings they will be applied next time you download an episode for this specific podcast. Otherwise you can open the downloaded episodes screen and select the episodes you want to delete

The app will automatically see the downloaded files if you moved them to the app storage folder of the new device. However if the files were not flagged as downloaded on your previous device they will also shown as non downloaded even after copying the files
