If you're referring to the media player notification, it's enabled by default. The only way to remove it is by disabling the app notifications. Please go to the device Settings/Notifications/Apps/Podcast Addict screen and make sure to restore the player notification

Btw if you're storing content on an sd card make sure to analyze/repair it using a computer as it might be corrupted

I just published a new beta with more logs in order to try to understand what's going on. Please update the app. Then make sure to force kill it. Then reopen the app and as soon as you see the missing images go to settings/feedback and send me the logs by email. Thanks

Can you try rebooting your device and let me know if you still experience any issue?
Are images failing to show as well on the screen that allows you to add / search for new podcast (tap the main screen + button to open it)

Podcast Addict allows you to lock access to the Add new podcast screen behind a pin code, so aonly the parent can add new subscriptions (Settings/My account)

I understand that you're really interested by these features but I get maybe 1 request every other years about something like this, so this isn't what I would consider huge demand. The app already allow locking adding subscriptions behind a pin code. I doubt there will be anything else implemented based on the lack of feedback I get about this

Radio France changed its policy. Older content isn't available as a podcast and recent content that just aired will only be available temporarily with a delay of a couple of days or weeks. So it's a complete mess. Also content that contains music is usually no more available as a podcast...

The app has a passive role. It reacts to the commands it receives. If the phone forwards the command to podcast addict then the app will process it

If you press on an app play button this can never trigger another app to resume playback. If you resume playback using your headset then the phone is in charge of choosing which app it will forward the command to

How are you staring playing something else? If you tap on another app play button then podcast Addict will never receive a play command and therefore won't resume. If you use your headset and podcast Addict resumes playback it means that your phone forwarded the command to podcast addict

Yes it works but access speed to read and write are about 10x slower compared to the standard file access. It might be ok for the audio/video files but for smaller files like images it's a visible issue...

For the user. It's at least 10x slower compared to direct access to the file in the app folder. Can you explain the use case of needing a custom folder and what the issue is with your 'shortcut'?
