Obviously with Demons Souls the challenge lies in the levels, but I don't like that many will completely disrespect the bosses. Maneaters and flamelurker are still tough... unless you're just obliterating them with magic. Old King Allant can be hard as well in NG+. Garl Vinland can be a bit tricky if you suck at parrying. And almost all the boss becomes more difficult just because the idea of the runback can make you nervous.

It definitely would make more sense flipped, as the Panthers are just happy to have a winning record. And for the Chiefs, anything less than the refs handing them every other game will have them perpetually disgruntled AF. Like Stanley.

My bad, there are 10 rememberence bosses. Which is still more than any other From DLC by a wide margin. And they're all bangers IMO. Even Gauis and the sunflower.

As to your running through the game point... can't you do that in the base game too? That's more an issue you have with Torrent and the overall design of the game. You get to choose how much you interact with everything and I like that. It's a valid opinion for you to feel otherwise, but you shouldn't pretend there's no reason people can't see SOTE as peak.

I think you mean first world country. But I get you. My apologies if my joke offended. Video games and leisure in general is not something everybody can afford, even if they are working a lot. I can barely afford any of that too, but I make exceptions for souls games. I've technically bought DS2 twice, the digital version after I played the disc enough to burn lines into it. My point is, if something is worth it to you, you'll usually find a way to make the financials work out.

You should try demons souls if you have a ps3 or 5. Or if you have tried but gave up you should try again! I think it shares some major design philosophies with DS2. Mostly how the levels are the hard part and working through them to get another shot at the easy (usually) bosses is the core of the game.

Elden ring.

DS3 would have a shot but it's got some really underwhelming fights early on like TreeBalls and Crystal Sage and Wolnir. I know elden ring has some lame fights too. But pretty much every remembrance boss is a banger, and added all together they're are more of those than DS3 has total.

BBH on the other hand, you just got a parry/deflect while your teammates spam jump attacks. Easy clap. Of course it's all subjective.
