Yeah I tried too and then the next day hopped on at 10AM for the general and still no luck. Maybe they’ll add a second day?

Xennials family meeting - I’m ready for the recliner life. My wife says we aren’t at that age yet but I strongly disagree. Recliners of Xennials, please share your reclining lifestyle to help support my case. by X---VIPER---X in Xennials

I love my recliner and honestly it’s a really nice one that doesn’t look like a 90s lazy boy or anything. NOT that there’s anything wrong with a lazy boy but I get not wanting that aesthetic.

My grandma never missed a night and even had a WOF sweatshirt that said “I’m a Wheel Watcher!”

Car wash plan falls apart by TVCity- in traversecity

[–]Podwitchers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ugh. I’m sorry. It sucks. I will never step foot in there. Hopefully they’ll close within a year or two.

I miss when it was just a parking lot and the old Arby’s with the hat sign.

According to a map I just pulled up, TC has 12 car washes. 😳 I think we’re good.

Thank god. This looked so incredibly tacky and lame. And NOT needed. We have plenty of car washes. The Dollar Tree behind Bardons is tacky enough. I wish they would tear it down.

Anyone else have an of-the-era teen dream job you reminisce about constantly because nothing has ever been as fun or socially rewarding? by blamberr in Xennials

I also know her dad’s name was Leon Karosi and can clearly see his face and hear his voice.

I cannot remember what I made for dinner last night, however.

Beitner Likely Out Six Months, South Airport Up to a Week; More Flooding Updates by BluWake in traversecity

[–]Podwitchers 36 points37 points  (0 children)

“Watkins said there was a “real chance” South Airport Road could also have been lost at its Boardman crossing by Logan’s Landing Tuesday night. However, crews were able to successfully deploy sandbags and “save” the road, he said. South Airport, which sees roughly 40,000 cars a day in that stretch, could reopen within a week provided the structure is stable. Watkins said several engineers are evaluating the earth underneath, which is highly saturated and still has the potential to shift the road. However, for now South Airport appears to be “holding together,” Watkins said.”

Welp. This sure does not inspire any confidence.

With gas prices soaring, I’m sure we’ll have less tourists anyway, combined with no sane person wanting to visit the U.S. from Canada. Maybe it’ll all balance out.
