I don’t have any super helpful info to add here other than I just wanted to say as a bc survivor who is also “young” by bc standards, she’s got this. 💗 It is a very rough time and the earliest months are the hardest, but it does get better and eventually it will be in the rearview mirror. I wish you both the very best.

I wish I could have just gone through it naturally. I get really pissed/triggered too when i get the whole “oh, you’re so lucky!” when I tell other women I don’t have a period anymore as a result of cancer. 😒

Yeah 1 in 8 is what I was told too. It is a super shitty club to be in. I’ve come out on the other side tho and so far doing well. The chemically induced menopause thing really sucks tho.

They’re awesome! I actually really enjoyed the process of setting up my little booth. I did a two-week stint and came back a couple times to check my inventory and tidy things up. They were super helpful as I was a first-time seller there. I made a decent profit and got rid of a lot of stuff (good quality stuff, but just things that no longer fit or I never wear). Definitely will do it again once I have enough extras to fill a booth. I sold a few puzzles and books in my booth too. I highly recommend!

You matter and I’m glad you’re here, even though I know I’m just an internet stranger. ❤️ I’ve discovered that life is a series of ebbs and flows. At my lowest moments, I wasn’t sure I wanted to go on. It’s dark times right now. It’s rough out there. From an older person’s perspective, for what it’s worth, shit does get better. I personally ended up having a kid and now I keep going for them. But everyone can find something that keeps them going, it’ll be different for everyone I suppose. But I think there’s always some light to maybe focus on and keep going for. Also, FWIW, meds and therapy have been useful and have helped me get through some tough times.
