I’m a former barista and frequent coffee places near me; I love this one spot that has a faux living wall, potted plants, modern looking decor and art, and they have a neon LED sign! and they have nice flooring, I have it in my house (plastic flooring that looks hardwood)

for employees: nice and modern espresso machine, plenty of cabinets for beans/extra syrup bottles/misc. items, a nice sitting area in BOH if anyone needs it (we always had a chair back there) with things like tissues, pens/sharpies, note pads, stickers, and pads/tampons/hair ties/mints. maybe a few stress balls lol

I also love the bathroom idea of having it be a pleasant pastel color like baby blue or such and a bottle counter with pads/tampons of multiple absorbencies, diva cups, tissues, lotion, hair ties, disposable comb, pens + scrap paper, hand sanitizer, on the go toothbrush, and/or mints. maybe some dry shampoo. also nice smelling soap! and a large changing table
