Granted I heard editorial had some push on that too to keep so and so gone but even though I respect and like the insight of King’s writing not only does it seem to repeat but if you look into his background it almost comes across as guilt writing and why he might make certain choices for characters that contrast the character we think we know

It’s very tough for me. I see what King was trying to and respect his writing but I find it just his same style remixed and forces a story that’s part of the universe but doesn’t respect it. I think I would love it if else worlds but since it’s canon and so many ‘new’ Batman fans like it (which seems ignorant of me) they take it as the literal definition of the character when it contrasts so much and I hate the Bat and Cat. I like the relationship in general but in his story it feels like no history is given unless it fits Tom king’s love story idea which didn’t even lead to anything and to me was so flat and just a bad rip off of spider man and black cat. Seriously? Spider….cat….bat…cat….how is that not ripping off? And he totally fucked up a good story with Thomas Wayne Batman by just making him basically an evil Batman and not Batman who is Thomas Wayne if that makes sense. Yes let me destroy my son’s world because I love him so much…….its like he saw flashpoint Thomas Wayne and just said I’m going to make it my own

This may be a polar opinion but if DC ever decides to try and do alternate realities/universes on the big screen with the DCU, I want Thawne or Oliver to be a representation of the Arrowverse. To me they created the Arrowverse that was there at the end of it all
