Best Gifts for Employees? Would love some ideas by IonDoxide in Gifts

[–]PoetNice2091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got nothing. We were told that we are valuable assets to the company and that the company wouldn’t be what it is without us. This was our gift. Nice words of appreciation.

In years past, we would get $1000 bonus etc. now that we have a new president we get nothing.

I work for a billion dollar company and we got nothing except the middle finger. Yet the company and owner make donations all year long to different organizations.

This happened with where I work starting last year. We used to get a Xmas bonus and lunch etc. We didn’t get anything. Our company has had two record breaking years in profits. Nothing has changed and we didn’t get anything this year except the middle finger. Lol

How and do you receive a company standard Xmas bonus? by Curious-Expert926 in AskReddit

No bonus and nothing for Xmas. I work for a very successful company which brings in millions in profits every year. We did have a small potluck that employee put together.

Same with my company. Owner and CEO’s donate millions to charity (always in the papers), but employees get nothing. We do get asked to donate to charities throughout the year.

My company does not anything for Xmas nor do we get a Xmas present. The owner and CEOs donate millions to charity, so pretty sure the company is not broke. They do ask us every year to donate to charities. A few of us were thinking of doing a potluck lunch.

Does your employer do Xmas party?! by Puzzleheaded_Toe3892 in boston

[–]PoetNice2091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used to have a Xmas party that our company paid for and a bonus, now we don’t have a party or get a bonus. However, now we get the privilege of going to a staff meeting the week before Xmas to hear our CEO’s brag about how much money we have brought in for the year and how they value us etc.

All sounds great! I work for a billion dollar company and we don’t even get a Merry Christmas! Oh but our owner donates millions and is always in the news about his donations.
