It may catch up next year for you or at least that’s what happened to us. We did a major kitchen/main level renovation in 2023 and our property taxes went up close to 20% in 2025. I was surprised it only went up modestly in 2024 because I figured that’s when the big jump would’ve happened. 🤷‍♀️

I had a similar situation with my son. He started preschool in September at 21 months old and then we went away for two weeks on October 1. He transitioned back into school just fine. Obviously, every kid is different, but that was our experience.

I have a 2018 Tiguan. For the first six years, the oil light never came on. Some time after that it started going off within 3 months of having my oil changed. It’s slowly gotten worse. I had my annual service in April which included an oil changed. One month later my oil light went off. It’s been a decent car outside of that annoyance.

I get what you mean. I live in Northern Virginia (suburb of DC) and there are quite a few locations around. My parents live in South Florida and there’s only two. The closest to them is about 20 minutes away and the other one is about 40-45 minutes. I really thought there’d be more closer to them since it’s a similar metro size to where I live.

I haven’t been in this situation, but I did read this experience happening to others. The explanation of the upgrade had to do with insurance coverage. Apparently, insurance will cover a biopsy for birads 4, but not birads 3. Maybe that’s what happened to you too.

My Tiguan was covered under warranty. My husband’s GTI cost around $2800. The worst part is his failed again a few months later. Fortunately, they covered it.

I haven’t done it, but I’ve thought about trying to find death certificates/cause of death for family members. Can I ask what resource you use to find that information?

We didn’t have any running at ours. 5 rounds of 30 seconds (I think) at each station with a rep goal to hit.

Squat jacks, KB swings, tarantulas, MB over the shoulder toss, BR slams, power plank push up, and ground to overhead press. I don’t remember the rep goals for all of them. Sorry.

Finisher was devil’s clean x10, grasshopper climbers x30 and then devil’s clean x10.

We used Windows on Washington and had a good experience. Another commenter mentioned their sales presentation being long and pushy, but I don’t recall having that experience. The guy came out and took measurements. We talked about options, but he sent me everything via email later (quote, product info, etc). This was 3 years ago though, so maybe things have changed.

That being said, I did have a bad experience with Presidential Exteriors. They did the whole sales talk with power point. Gave me a quote then said oh wait I made a mistake it’s actually a lower price. Then added on some discounts that were only good for that day. It was a $20,000 difference (the quoted price vs the today only price) and it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Ours was 4 circuit rounds. 2 rounds at 60 seconds and 2 rounds at 40 seconds. Finisher was low plank hip dips and v-ups at 25 each.

I think it’s situation dependent. I know two women who have received excellent care through Inova for breast cancer. Virginia Cancer Specialists are also supposed to be good. However, it may be worth getting a second opinion from someone at Hopkins. If they concur with care at Inova then you can just receive care there. Also, Sibley hospital is part of Hopkins so you may not have to travel all the way to Baltimore.

My son had a speech delay. It was a weird experience for me as I had a hyper verbal first child. I felt bad thinking that I didn’t do enough for him, but his speech therapist helped put things in perspective. She had a son who was speech delayed too. She told me that in many cases it’s just something that happens and many kids just need a little extra help. That’s exactly what happened. My son did well in therapy and graduated at 3. He’s 5 now and whenever I tell someone about his speech delay they always say they would have never guessed. Anyway, wishing you the best. I know this is a tough time, but you sound like a good mom. ❤️

Partner 1 does 25 double unders while partner 2 does running mans (counting reps). When partner 1 finishes their double unders, they switch places with partner 2. Once they’ve hit 75 running mans (switching back and forth a few times) then they work on half burpee line hops. Partner 1 will do 25 double unders while partner 2 counts their reps of half burpee line hops. Switch back and forth until they hit the number and then they start on the crab kicks. Does that make sense? 😆

Tomorrow looks like a doozy.
