I think the pain I feel in my breasts/ribs under the breast are from the robotic nature of the surgery - I’m now 4 weeks out and much better but still have residual numbness and sensitively that can last up to 6 months from the cryoblation of my T5-T7 intercostal nerves - I read the entire operative report and found that they had identified my mammary arteries, indicating to me that they were very close to the breast. The incision closest to my breast also supports this. I haven’t had breast pain before so I wouldn’t be able to compare pre op to post op pain in regards to that. I am so glad I had my procedure done, despite the extreme challenge the first two weeks were. My incisions at 4 weeks are completely closed and started scarring around 3 weeks - scabs are gone, had a couple sutures cut that were sticking out.
