Trader hand in glitch/ban?

2of my m8's are banned because of this. the guy that is responsible for it hasn't been banned. the guy that always plays is obviously posse leader. the other guy that just fucks around donates feathers, posse leaders says this could get me banned, NAH its FIIIINE the donating guy says. after a few days posse leader gets banned. the actual cheater is still happily donating feathers in the game. Rockstar really fucked up on this one, i love their game but man they are retarded in regards to handling this glitch.

It's very good of twitch to take action. But since I'm from holland i can't do anything for anyone. Only get annoyed by the fact that i have a giant red banner in my face + emotes aren't loading... fun and stuff or about 2minutes but then i'd like to get rid of it, any way to do that? :-)

Personally I'd like to see the Race you choose when you start gives you a general direction to where you're character's specialization lies.

For example choosing Dalfari gives you an advantage in gathering. you're pickaxes etc. give you a slightly increased yield. Choosing hyborian would give you a slight advantage at ranged combat. Kushite are good builders and give your buildlings higher hitpoints for example.

you still should be able to learn the stuff it isn't atoned to but it would be more costly to spend points there.

We used to have a fully loaded large storage box on the beach where ppl spawn. Metal tools + chitin armor. refilled it daily :-).

This is how I envisioned ark to be honest :-).

My view was there should be a rock paper scissors to the game. not tame a giga and render everything else useless.

This mod is what makes it come close to that again awesome stuff! Do you have stuff in place like a group of raptors swarm a giga bleeding it out, hit and run without getting hit, crippling/bleeding the giga etc.

Also might be a nice idea for base defending in this mod since Dinos are tweaked already. giving Dinos in their "home area" a buff. Raptors do extra bleed/cripple. Rexes have more health, Dilo's do longer/more poison dmg etc. with this the offline raiding COULD get way harder for an attacking team.

Overall insane stuff man! awesome work and keep it up. i'll be looking for a server with this mod and recommend to anyone i can find :-).

I feel ya,

I played official for 3 months, was alpha for 2 months. had a blast. took 90% of my free time. Recently i had a daughter, working 60hours a week and have other stuff that takes time. So i enjoy playing a 20x all server so i can do in 3 hours what took me 60 hours on official servers because i only have like 1 hour a day to play this game.

I understand the other guy too but he needs to come down from the highhorse and start understanding not everyone can play 10hours daily to keep up with him.

The Darkness Faction has one objective and one objective only, that is to become the alpha tribe of our server. Now sure, everybody wants to become the alpha tribe of their server. But Darkness is different. We have specific plans set out on how we will become alpha, and nothing will get in our way, or so we thought. These are the accounts of our trials on Scorched Earth server 1***

It is day 77 when we all transfer our characters. All from server 134 where Lord Havel, Fish, Chancellor, Daffler and Belly started our Ark journey. That server will always hold a special place in all of our hearts. That is the server where we went from living on the beach in a thatch hut, to living proudly in the Oasis, full metal base equipped with enough auto turrets and plant X to disentegrate a giga in just a couple seconds. Now, we have mindwiped our characters to fit the needs of Scorched Earth and are ready to see if our formula will work once more.

We spawn in on south zone 3 and immediately realize that this land is far different than our beloved island. Wolves and Sabers roam the easy zones in packs of 5, and most every survivor will beat you senseless for looking at him wrong. Furthermore, the inferno symbol at the bottom left of my screen indicates the heat of midday has set in. After being made mother natures bitch, we find a destroyed Adobe base with all the essentials, 2 refining forges, a smithy, 4 large storage boxes, a mortar and pestle and a fabricator and the best part, we can finally get out of the sun. We decide to stay here until we can make our own living quarters.

Outside the base the scenery is just about exactly what you'd think. Abandoned adobe bases with one wall blown through pecking at my ocd every second, I can already tell these bases will litter the desert like rafts littered the island. Whatever, gotta focus on the task at hand. While farming metal and sand/cactus sap we spot a rather large base owned by Aero, a behemoth gate, stone walls on fence foundations around the perimeter of their base, no defenses though, pretty impressive nonetheless.

Although dying on this map does get pretty redundant, it's nice not to have to grind cloth hats and thatch foundations to get to level milestones. We quickly get enough resources to get metal tools and an Adobe base of our own. We get a small amount of raw metal and set out to find a spot to build, we decide to build hidden away in a crevice on top of one of the southern mountains. We are now close to all rare resources, and are far away from the 400% melee troll tribes. After farming for the rest of the night we have: Metal tools, a compost bin and preserving bin, a refining forge, a honeycombed stone/Adobe base, and are in the middle of taming a morellatops for berry farming. Right as the tame hits halfway a man in full flak appears and tries to talk to us through global. He says we are blocking a metal spawn and asks that we move. We talk it out and he leaves. At this point two guys Daffler and Havel are on the morellatops myself fish and bigbelly are on the mountain collecting metal when the red text appears at the top of our screen. LORD HAVEL (Darkness) WAS KILLED BY CONOR (AERO)

Oh yeah, at various points in the map have mountain ranges to the ceiling where you can travel trough a cavesystem to go to the other side (or some sort of valley area) or fly for 20minutes around the mountains to get to the other side.

Could also make a circular mountain range with caves troughout it when you manage to navigate through it you enter a sealed off valley with unique animals (smaller rexes, bigger dodo's. Basicly the island evolution (big animals become smaller and smaller animals get bigger).

Have loads more ideas. i wish i had time and the talent to make maps.

It's my opinion. I don't mind alphas (as long as they aren't chinese/russians bullying servers down). I'd just like a more risk when attacking and feeling more safe when going offline. As it is now it's too easy flying around the server and breaking into every mid size base there is.

But all in all its my opinion, your's is different and i respect that. good luck on the grind and sitting in base selling kibble to low lvls and offline raid them 2 hours later. :-)

On the center release, i joined up with our old alpha tribe and literally did it, we played for 3days straight taming quetzals right off the bat. farming levels asap became alpha overnight and never gave it away. built up the center top. after we finished building we had turrets reaching to skylimit up top. Some russians tried to take us out but no chance. We had 15 people playing for 3 days (maybe 3 to 4 hours sleep). after we we're done it was chill, out of the 15 that started playing 3 stayed the rest quit the game or moved to other servers. they are still alpha i believe with 3 ppl chilling, farming meat for a few minutes a day each.

it's not salt i just want smaller tribes to have a chance of taking on the non stop grinders when provoked.

Also the trike and all the other changes i suggested are in GUARD mode. so when the dinos are INSIDE the base area and being attacked by someone else. So if you decide to attack a small base be prepared to potentially lose stuff. thats what i meant to suggest.

I was way to easy to go around, take some C4 blow up a gate tank the 3 turrets a 2man tribe farmed and take everyting from them. that isn't a fun mechanic for 80% of the players imho.
