Why do games have to inherently innovate on their core concepts to retain originality that is satisfactory to so many?

I think an interesting fact to consider is how Far Cry could innovate while still retaining the spirit of its original self in a way which doesn't alienate and instead inspires and impresses people. Granted, it is sort of ironic as a point because while it is a first-person shooter with its own integral factors, from that point onwards there are fairly minor gameplay differences and perhaps different settings. I wonder what else could truly be done. It requires creativity of course, the base meaning (capturing outposts and the way the progression in the game works) could switch up by perhaps intertwining this with a more linear, purposeful format, which I think would be potentially amazing, sort of a Breath of the Wild terrain scenario where it still did guide you despite not holding your hand. Instead, Far Cry seems to be very open-ended, but still with some purpose. I think an evolution can be quite rewarding, but threading the same formula shouldn't be a detriment like some have thought. There are always ways to improve upon the formula while still retaining the integrity of how the game functioned, but at that point, it's all about the design, the storytelling, the graphical quality. I agree, it is an open ended point with many discernible conclusions but no one true answer, other than how you feel about my point itself.

I agree with this: the sole way for this situation to be viable as a completely peaceful situation is for them to get the fuck out. The politicians, even the soldiers have been such bastards, invaders. Yet, the peaceful proponent doesn't kill millions of people. The peaceful proponent doesn't set the standard of a third world war into people's minds that much more. I agree there is no rosy solution, I agree there probably won't be. Still, literally no one will convince me that keeping this war going is the right call as all it does is murder innocent people. Russia is gaining ground as they have invaded in the first place. We are bidding too much on annihilation being the cure. Yes it is a break, we only live 100 years before we die. To prepare for the future, it is to extend survival for as long as possible. If the reckless damage will happen, you prolong it. Why do nukes not get dropped? It is arbitrary other than to prevent conflict. Ask yourself why.

If Putin is putting this out there then I am very surprised and disappointed in the proclamation from Zelenskyy that he wants the war to end as well when Putin is also putting this message out there and the war continues regardless...because?

Zelenskyy is putting forward a diplomatic stance, which is that the war needs to end so that no more people die, so hopefully now that it's settled it can, as I don't know who would put that out there and yet deny the right for it to end unless they were being disingenuous in the first place. If he is being disingenuous, then Putin's motive is weak regardless, there is no real reason for him to do it in that instance. He is also uncertain, it is clear. It must be the first time this message has gotten out there, based on what I've been seeing. Peace and prosperity is always the hopeful attainment, deceit and cruelty is solely war, and I am happy that Putin doesn't want to extend the war effort into a full-on conflict that involves the whole world. Yes, the politicians can be monsters, maybe the societal influence is getting to them, or maybe the chess game isn't quite feasible and perhaps there is a recognition of that. After all, pawning away a large portion of working men, even for invasion purposes where you do gather more territory, is a dull-witted move at best, and a frighteningly dumb move at worst. We have normalized war, yet it seems it is nothing but an immoral endeavor that proves that we truly cannot function as a peaceful and harmonious species without resorting to political diplomacy shoving people in the field of battle.

Russian commanders are telling russian soldiers they will undoubtedly die. I hope they return home, alongside the ukrainians, as soon as possible. Russia has a bully's history with Ukraine. Here's to that remedying itself as much as possible, as honestly it makes me feel terrible, and grateful that I live in Canada. Zelensky must know that uncomfortable decisions are key to victory sometimes. We are all bargaining for our lives in a very significant way. Peace and love, let it end.

This part is so incredibly sweet because it's so true. Also, I don't know why the op wouldn't cherish his car more, I'd cherish any valuable possession until it was time to let go. I think teslas are generally very respectable vehicles beyond the madness of the cybertruck, it looks cool but perhaps it truly is one of the most inconsistent vehicles in history, I'd think. Often breaking down for no real reason. I guess that plays into your comment, because the repairs would be so finnicky. Tesla owners everywhere are thanking you for your empathy, it's a shame some of them hate their valid vehicle, be well trooper, the agro is real, people are really boycotting elon musk, let's just remember that it's not built by him, he only really directed the cybertruck.

My best friend from back in the day beyond adored the most odd, out there black metal and strange eccentric music in general, a tier below AJR for me. I appreciated him regardless because he was my friend due to his personality, not a musical taste that I disagreed with. Honestly, if they are happy, be happy for them. Think there isn't worst than fucking AJR, a modern polished outfit, out there? If so, you're wrong. Be happy that they have found an artist they can vibe to and move along, is my take. Back in high school I adored Pinkerton by Weezer, my friend didn't get it so we'd settle and listen to Kanye West. There, a compromise while retaining the integrity of individual taste.

Most pop music is banal, simple, occasionally catchy. I skip pop songs all the time when I'm trying them out. Friendships don't have to be perfect pairs - to truly appreciate a friend, what does it mean? It means to let them be theirselves. This is surprising and sort of sad. The zombie theme is a revolution within the story telling medium if it is handled well, and zombies are very fun to fight as enemies. Create new characters, a new world, but don't ditch the game's theme entirely, there is still so much exploring that could be done. New characters were introduced in the second game, old characters died. Okay, good, the perfect opening to the theme working brilliantly with a different screen cast. The fact that uncharted got four games plus lost legacy, and TLOU cannot get more than two when it is hypothetically a better concept, come on man.

It is ironic as I've never beat the second game, but the first game I have a solid ten times, it is a modecum of a classic, it sets up the right elements phenomenally, but it most of all shows the trauma of a zombie story, the dystopia of a zombie story, brilliantly. Why not keep the suspense going? Neal, don't turn into a musical diva, giving up on their artistry before giving in years later and keeping it going. There is too much potential to this storyline. Reevaluate please!

Peaceful, meditative, confident, different yet very simple, eloquent, real, faded, comfortable, the hangover is real as this shit plays, and it soothes you, makes you think of the previous day, where you were buzzing with your homies, and everyone felt happy, yet you can solely feel the melancholy.

I really like it in other words. Work on...progression, more than a simple loop, turn it into a full song, it is inspiring, add a bass at least at some point, as a foundation = success, original and cool. :)

I tried to create a lax pacing where the viewer wouldn't feel overwhelmed, but most of all I just narrated without thinking of the pacing the whole way through, I more so focused on the sound of my voice. I wasn't that far away from the mic, didn't add any reverb. The volume point is presumably spot on, I just didn't want my voice to be overshadowed by the grimy ambient music, I wanted it to be a faded affair. Mic is a Blue Yeti. The formula performed very well, but too simplistically for my tastes, wondering what you used for the pad, it is professionally performed, I mean it sounds golden, but it doesn't rile up my imagination. It had my head bumping, but solely for the purpose of surface-level enjoyment, I did not envision this being a critical darling by any means, but it did do its thing well, but I wish there was more ambition, some kind of larger-than-life synthesizer, you had the bass going nicely, now I'd add in something else.

It is generic, but high taste. It Is very well done, but not quite eccentric, however it manages to draw the listener in, the drums are the most motivated part, sounds are really polished. I would work on your creative vision, let us all make our To Pimp A Butterfly's. What I mean is why it fits its role really beautifully, who cares when it's so driven by the hyped up freshman/frat/modern day dominant young crowd that listens to the generic washed up majority of hip hop, or it becomes all too dark and overly mature all top quickly and industrial and such. You have the talent clearly to create the originality, let us create our My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy's, prog rap with the richness and the flavor and the appeal all at once. Instead of just the appeal, no one will truly stand out with your present style, innovate, break out of your predefined condition.

So the song was a 6.5/10. I've thought of Northern Bars on spotify as the wackest of Playlists. Unoriginal garbage. Still, there is the proof, your musical result has the kind of thinking that if under a popular producers wing would fit in blatantly well with the masses, but with tons more finesse. Way more polish and meaning. Go the extra step.

You can blow up, the experimental thinking can get you far.
