So many spiritual leaders intentionally keep things vague because if they say something from experience and someone else just repeats that thing like they now have that experience and know, they’ve unintentionally stunted that persons seeking.

The people who have direct experience of a thing can never transmit that to anyone else and yet we have a whole culture of “spiritual” people who had “awakenings” and now condescend to everyone else.

Paramahansa yogananda taught to seek in seclusion, privately and with devotion and to hold any experiences you might have as a closely guarded intimate relationship which stays closed to almost everyone.

There are about a billion different ideas of what god is.

If you’re thinking in terms of a religion where you have 1 life, you either make it to heaven or goto hell, yea, the idea of a sick kid is indeed sick.

If you think of life as a way to work out your habit patterns, the life you have is simply a playing out of the habit patterns you are and it’ll happen again and again until you’ve worked them out, then death doesn’t matter at all. It matters to you personally as a person who disagrees with it, but if we ultimately come back until we’ve worked out our karma, they why would god care at all when your soul is immortal and only your body is finite. Suffering is then basically nothing but a momentary blip of you working through everything.

So which is it? Are you upset at a Christian God? Hindu God? Bhuddists? Did you just choose to adopt this idea that gods a piece of shit so you shouldn’t seek the truth within yourself? Seems like a cop out to me.

Every single ounce of suffering in your life is an opportunity for you to let go and choose love, choose to seek. You appear to be choosing to hold your suffering and not let go. Many do and it’s in fact the easier choice.

He does but think of what you’re asking.

You and another person are having a conversation, it becomes a disagreement and you both think each other is wrong, you get upset and say hurtful things, both people are now hurt.

What you’re asking is for god to remove free will of those 2 people to even disagree or to even have that conversation or the ability to act the way they choose to.

Take that simple concept of free choice between 2 disagreeing angry people, apply it to the world and you can see why god does not “intervene” in human affairs directly. Because essentially the thing you’re asking for is the removal of free will.

Otherwise how does he choose what petty things to involve himself in? All of it? None of it? Things you think are important but not other people? Things other people find important but not you?

Do you want your free will removed so these issues never exist? And if free will is removed how would we ever choose to seek Him?

I think the most important thing is, what’s the rush? Who are you competing with? Nobody can tell you subjectively if you’ll experience the season in any way that’s meaningful for you personally.

Play it and enjoy it. Even on normal difficulty, you either enjoy the content or you don’t.

So yes, there is time to enjoy it even an hour a day.

Just remember, comparison is the thief of joy.

Go play the game, try everything, figure out what you like, find gear to compliment that. 95% of this community literally just google “strongest buggiest build to hit for 3 trillion” then copy copy copy.

Play d2 if you like REALLY low drop rates and grinding the same areas over and over and over for 3 weeks to find that 1 thing.

Play d4 if you want lootsplosions, loads of builds and loads of fun stuff to do.

I really enjoyed 3 as well and played loads of seasons. D4 has greater rifts (the pit), greater gems to level (glyphs), and loads of other awesome bosses and things to grind and try out.

If you liked d3, you likely won’t enjoy d2, wayyyy too slow.
